This review is long overdue! Gabe and his team at Capture Me Studio photographed and videographed our wedding three years ago. As we celebrated our third anniversary last week, I was overwhelmed with thankfulness to be able to relive our day through the beautiful photos and videos. Capture Me Studio truly captured every magical moment. Gabe worked within our budget and was even flexible on the day of. He stayed longer than contracted for the videographer at a discounted rate! He also had a very quick turnaround time - our wedding was October 9 and we received our gallery on November 13! Hiring Capture Me Studio was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. Thank you, Gabe! read more

Going into our wedding I knew there was one thing we couldn't "skimp" on: the pictures that would last our lifetimes. We looked at numerous vendors but when Capture Me Studio was recommended by our wedding venue, we knew we had found the perfect fit. Wowed by their portfolio we made the call and never looked back. Initially, we were just in the market for photography but seeing their stunning video work made us realize that we'd regret it if we didn't go with the full package. From the outset, Alex was easy to work with, helping us put together our package, determine the "shots" we wanted and quickly pivoting and finding a solution when the photographer we had chosen tested positive for Covid days before our wedding. On our wedding day, Alex and Brandon were on point and extremely helpful at directing us and making sure we didn't forget any of our "must have" shots. On top of that, they were warm and kind, and frankly, fun to be around which set everyone at ease and made for better pictures. I was most impressed with their ability to sneak in and get the shots they needed without ever being in the way or making us feel distracted, allowing us to stay present for our special day. But let's get to why we're really here, the final result! We absolutely LOVE our wedding pictures and will cherish them forever. The colors are so vivid, the poses so natural, and the framing . . . I mean there are shots in here that could be on a magazine cover! I mentioned earlier, Alex and Brandon's almost uncanny ability to sneak in and out of moments to get the shot they needed, let me tell you they got some of the best candid shots I have seen from any wedding. I'm SO happy we added the video package, it brings the day to life, capturing the small moments that would otherwise be missed and encapsulating the beauty of both the venue and our wedding day. To look through the images and watch the video is to relive one of the most special days of our lives. Thank you Capture Me Studio. read more

Gabe and his team did a wonderful job. Very professional with communication, photography, and editing. Gabe even helped add more detail to our wedding day itinerary which was a big help. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. He made my wife and I very comfortable throughout the session and wedding day. Amazing job and very happy with how our photos turned out. read more

Capture Me Studio - Hair and Makeup: Sandra Michelle Artistry Flowers: Beauty and Bloom (Nina's Flowers) - Event Photography Near Me

I COMPLETELY recommend Capture Me Studios as engagement and wedding photographers! My wife and I are a tad camera shy; but they made the whole experience a breeze. They have a way about them that makes you feel extremely comfortable, even if you've never been in front of a camera before. They are also amazing at capturing those "in between" moments that are candid and beautiful, and the style of photography is effortless and absolutely stunning. From a technical point of view, their work stood out from the rest because of how bright and alive the photos were. Skin tones were perfect, lighting was on point, framing and composition was unique.... they really have an eye for this field of work They are professional, quick to respond, experienced, and fun to work with. If you're wondering whether or not to book them as your photographers, don't hesitate. There is no one better! read more

Fidler/Elliott Wedding - May 22, 2021 Gabe and his team did a terrific job with our daughter's wedding photos. The quality and quantity of photos and the artistic way they created both a long and short version of the wedding video blew us away! The photographers did such a fabulous job of giving us wonderful memories! Capture Me Studio gets my enthusiastic referral! read more

I'm not gonna lie, I was very skeptical about the studio when we first booked with our wedding venue because Capture Me Studio was included in our venue price and we had very limited communication despite the contract stating we'd have communication a year prior to our event and we didn't have communication until 4 months prior. BUT once that communication was open, it was great and the photographers that were assigned to our event, Brandon and Cory, were AMAZING! We are not the professional photo taking type of people and they made it so easy. We also received our entire wedding album just 2 weeks after our wedding and we're in love with all the photos. Our experience with them is a true never judge a book by its cover because although it was a struggle at first the outcome was more than we imagined. read more

Forever grateful that we booked Capture Me Studio for our wedding day!! Gabe and his team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish - very communicative, detail-oriented, professional, and fun. Gabe made everyone feel comfortable day-of and ensured things ran smoothly, which is super important on such a hectic day. He worked side-by-side with our videographer and captured every moment of our wedding beautifully. We couldn't be happier with how the photos came out! HUGE thanks to Gabe and his team for all of their hard work, we'll cherish the photos for years to come! Highly recommend! read more

The quality of our wedding photos produced by Capture Me Studio were great but they were unprofessional to work with and we would never recommend them. Communication was good up until the point we signed our contract and they had our money. After that, there was little to no coordination for our wedding day. We paid to have 2 photographers at our wedding but only one showed up. That's 8 hours of photo coverage that we paid for and did not get. And since we only had one photographer, a lot of time was spent WAITING to take photos. That's time that should have been spent actually enjoying our wedding. On top of all that, the one photographer didn't even take all the photos we requested (i.e. closeups of wedding rings, matching Marvel-themed socks for Groomsmen, etc.). Capture Me Studio was also supposed to let us know who our photographers would be 2-4 weeks before our wedding but we didn't even meet the photographer until the day of our actual wedding! And since we expected 2 photographers, we paid for 2 meals - that's wasted food and money! The owner, Gabriel Valdez, did not even apologize for the missing photographer until AFTER we finally complained (we waited until after we got our photos). His excuse was that the photographer who was supposed to work our wedding had a death in the family and could not work. I find that hard to believe since they did not communicate this information before, during, or even after the wedding (until we brought it up). We asked for a refund of $1,200 since their hourly rate for an additional photographer was $150/hour ($150 x 8 hours = $1,200) so we thought it was fair. The owner instead tried to weasel out of giving us compensation by creating a documentary-style wedding video that we did not ask for to try to "make up" for the missing photographer, and he only agreed to pay us back $200. He also tried to give us a free photo session, which we also did not want since we no longer had an upcoming event. We did not accept and never heard back from him after that. If you are looking for professional wedding photographers who are good at communication and will not make you wonder if they will even show up at your wedding, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. read more

First off, we cannot express just how incredibly thankful we are for all of the planning, support, and work Gabe and Maria did to help our wedding be the perfect, beautiful day that it was. Planning a wedding is always stressful, but working with them made what felt like a daunting task, so so smooth. Every small question was answered, every email or text responded to, and on the day of the wedding we felt entirely stress-free thanks to your hard work. They were incredibly thorough with what photos we would want during our wedding so that not a detail was missed and went above and beyond with the pictures taken, capturing parts of the wedding that we were just too busy to enjoy at the time. Not a family member nor memory was missed! read more

Capture me studio was a friendly group to work with. I was very nervous as to how I would do with them because I'm not a photogenic person and they made me feel comfortable instantly! They asked to make sure what you wanted to do the day of and they were very quick with pictures and videos. I have watched my wedding video 5 times and cried all 5 times! Gabe and Brit were absolutely perfect on our wedding day, as well as the days leading up to it, in July 2018 at Abbott Manor. We were immediately put at ease with their prompt communication and in-person friendliness (BONUS: they were great with our dog in both our engagement and wedding day photos!). A year and a half has passed, but my husband and I still fondly look back on our wedding day as the best day of our lives thus far. We are especially grateful for such timeless photo memories. Thank you to both Gabe and Brit for being a huge part of our special day. We are so happy to hear that their business has expanded, as it should! read more

Gabe and his team were absolutely GREAT! Very prompt, listened to what I wanted as a bride, and was willing to go the extra mile just to get the perfect shots. Their team knew our venue and the sun's timing, so they knew exactly what shots would work and what would not. Couldn't have asked for a better guy! Our pictures were also provided in a fast manor! Usually it takes up to 10 weeks but we didn't wait that long. read more

Gabriel and capture me studios was the best photographer we could have asked for. He made us feel 100 times less awkward taking photos than we usually do. He made taking our wedding and engagement photos super fun and relaxing. For the day of the wedding he was extremely organized. We didn't have to worry about anything involving photos because he had it down to a science. Him and his assistant were so nice and so easy to work with. The photos themselves are absolutely beautiful! We will definitely use captureme again for any photo needs. read more

Gabe and his team were a huge part of our wedding day on 9/3/22! They were so great, I have nothing but good things to say. Our wedding day in San Diego happened to be the hottest day of the year, and the whole team stayed so positive and helped us get through the day without having our photos/video look like we were a sweaty mess. They showed up early and stayed late when our timeline was a bit behind so that everything was captured. Gabe initially did our engagement shoot, and we loved those photos. I didn't know it was possible to love our wedding photos and video even more! We got our photos and videos in our hands sooner than we could have hoped. Capture Me Studio photo and video package was also so reasonably priced for the amazing quality! Thank you again to Gabe and his team. read more

Hiring Capture Me Studio to photograph and film my wedding was one of the best decisions I made. The day of the wedding, they were punctual, professional, and had the group photos done in a timely manner, yet kept it light and fun. Gabe's team is very dedicated to getting the perfect shot. We had one photographer trip in a ditch and one almost fall off a crumbling tree stump! I appreciate that kind of dedication! The photo quality is amazing. (I've reposted some photos on Instagram @Rebekah.Ackerman). I'm obsessed with how great the highlight video is. It made our wedding look like so much fun! And the docu-style video they did captured everything. I don't feel like I missed a thing. Now, I can relive my wedding as many times as I'd like (minus the sore feet). I would hire them all over again! And their prices (We paid for everything ourselves, so I was definitely a budgeting bride!) were incredibly reasonable ESPECIALLY considering the quality of the work. read more

It took us DAYS to go through all 1,000+ wedding photos and choose which ones we wanted to post because we srsly love them ALL! Capture Me Studio did such an amazing job at capturing the light, dreamy, fairytale type of vibe that we were going for. Not only did they execute the pictures, but the experience and service they provided was just incredible. Like all weddings, we had a few hiccups, and they were just sooo accommodating, supportive, and just on top of everything. They focused on what WE wanted and how WE were feeling. Words can't describe how happy we are to have chosen and trusted them with our special day YALL NEED TO BOOK THEM LIKE YESTERDAY! read more

don't believe their ratings on The Knot because they delete reviews that are not 5 stars. they have the worst communication AND the services that were promised were missing on the day of the wedding, like drone footage and a second photographer. We found out the DAY OF THE WEDDING that they can't provide those things. Thanks for a stressful time at the wedding. read more

Gabe is absolutely amazing and captured our wedding day perfectly! Throughout the planning process, he was fantastic at communicating and easy to get a hold of if we had questions. His team was familiar with our venue and knew exactly which shots to get. He is friendly, professional, and made us feel so special on our day making sure we got every picture/pose we wanted. He kept things running smoothly and on time. The quality of the pictures is stunning and we could not be happier with their service! Gabe + Brit are seriously amazing and so talented! Brit took our engagement photos and they turned out exactly how I hoped they would and more. She was very professional and so sweet, and really made those awkward kissing photos with the camera super close to your face, not so awkward! Gabe and an assistant took our wedding photos and WOW what a great duo! They had us fill out a questionnaire prior to the wedding with all of our must have photos for the day and they completely knocked it out the park with our asks! They were both very punctual, professional, fun and relatable, which is nice on a day with so many nerves and emotions! I love our wedding photos so much that I printed ALL OF THEM into a memory book, they are that amazing! My favorite part is that they took the time to go to every table and take photos of our guests for us to look back on and remember who was at our wedding! Gabe + Brit are the best and you really cannot go wrong with them! We love them and their work and will be using them for our future photography needs!!! read more

Capture Me was AMAZING!! So glad that we chose them for our wedding! They took amazing pictures, but the planning really made our experience great! They allowed us to spend most of our time with guests at our wedding by taking care of pictures quickly and efficiently, instead of taking a massive chunk of time. They planned their photo locations and angles ahead of time, and talked us through them, so there was no chaos in determining what photos to take and where to take them. Capture Me Studio (previously Gabe + Brit) really captured the joy of our wedding date. They helped us navigate the hectic wedding schedule when we were unsure of how to proceed. The park we chose for our wedding photos was having a car show but these guys are so professional, our photos don't show any of that! Our engagement photo shoot was at Griffith Park at sunrise in January. Gabe and Brit captured our joy and happiness, not the gusty winds and shivering. Capture Me impressed us with their professionalism and preparedness. Everything was clearly communicated leading up to the wedding date. We were given a questionnaire that focused on which specific pictures, groups, and ideas we wanted to include. Their readiness shone when they asked for a list of names ahead of time so that they can call people by their names. Such a personal touch! We immensely appreciated how they placed a deadline on when they needed to have a timeline of the wedding day, scouted out the venue before the wedding, and easily kept everyone on schedule that day. Capture Me put everyone at ease with their easy-going, friendly, and cool nature. They were great at telling people what to do, yet showed tact and manners.
