Beside the meat department is a tall selection of various sweet breads. We have tried them all, and you can not go wrong no matter what you choose. Additionally, they have a well stocked, large selection of Hispanic groceries and some vegetables. Beside them and connected with a doorway in a shared wall is a Mexican restaurant. I was excited but not surprised because they normally have really good deals and random sales. Well on this occasion I go to pay for them and the lady at the register say this is a really good deal. The lady behind her (older lady) say what and the lady who is assisting me said well I am not sure this is right. The older lady walk over and say not this isn't. She said the should be the price of the legs not wings. She then took all the wings out of my cart and said he can't have them. Called someone from the back gave them the wings and said "he trying to get them for the price of legs. This isn't right take them back." She never told me the price they should of been and never gave me an opportunity to pay the correct price. I asked for the right price and she yelled "2.99 but he should have known that wasn't the right price. ". Referring to me as if I put the price on the meat. I am now debating if I would return to this location. I felt embarrassed and if they felt I was trying to still t from them. I rushed out after paying for the rest of my items yet to return.

We use them to stock up especially on items "normal" American grocers or the co-op on near Pearsontown don'y carry. Their bok choy and summer melons in particular are wonderful. Get the melons. I mean that. They're perfect for summer. They all have fantastic selection of eel, pork belly, and other meat cuts that you don't see in the nearby Target (which is a shame that the most immediate grocer to me) and a much better price performer than the Wegman's without the pretense. If you're just there for Asian candy and snacks, "all" the big ones aren't there, but some are. It serves that purpose okay, but you're missing out if you limit yourself that way. It's located on the edge of the shopping center where Atomic Empire and that kids party place share. The customer service is brief but accurate and helpful. The bagging goes so quickly I almost feel useless standing there ready to pay. They have always been friendly and kind. I am also chronically ill and continue to mask due to early stage COPD and breast cancer. The other employees also mask. I actually feel safe there. I feel like they care. It feels kind of packed always and like they have a little more stock than room, but this is the local Durham Asian grocer, and they have been in our community a long time. Although it can get crowded here at times, it doesn't feel as congested as Grand Asia's constant overflow of customers coming and going. However, when it comes to the different goods you can get from Grand Asia's restaurant/cafe/bakery, Li Ming's Global Mart falls short. All you can get in Li Ming's are mostly mediocre-tasting Chinese food that goes well with rice and some noodle bowls that may be too salty to some people. The bakery inside Li Ming's is nice; we used to buy egg tarts and curry bread here. It's no Tours les Jours but it's not bad. They also offer boba milk tea but we wouldn't recommend it. The store is located in a really nice area with other nearby shopping and conveniently located. When I entered the store I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and well organized the place is. Product are mealy and clearly labeled. The staff are extremely helpful and go way above and beyond to help which is a great thing. The prices here are also phenomenal! The checkout lanes and self checkout were not crazy at all either. I will definitely shop here again with I am here the area.

I noticed an employee standing nearby and asked for assistance and after explaining what I was trying to do, specifically asking, "Am I able to use the balance on my EBT card first," she just frowned at me and shook her head no.
