They have fresh tamales here occasionally, so we are sure to grab some when we're lucky enough. They also have fresh cornbread almost always available. Beside the meat department is a tall selection of various sweet breads. We have tried them all, and you can not go wrong no matter what you choose. Additionally, they have a well stocked, large selection of Hispanic groceries and some vegetables. Beside them and connected with a doorway in a shared wall is a Mexican restaurant. We've never eaten there, but I'm sure it's going to be quite authentic. I'll do a review on them soon. 5 stars all day!

The butcher and meat counter at the back of the store is great too, they are cutting meats fresh right behind the counter where they are all displayed for purchase. They have a great selection of beef, pork and chicken cuts along with a few others and some seafood items, they even have a LIVE lobster tank for you to pick out your own and they also have little bags of oysters and scallops in the shell. They also have general grocery items, some name brands, some generic, but they also keep alot of local made items like Goat Lady Dairy goat cheeses, tubs of Hursey's BBQ in the feezer, Neeses products and a host of others. They had some mini homemade pecan and chocolate pies in front of the checkout area, the little baby pies in the tini pie tins, I picked up a couple of pecan pies and they were really good, not sickening sweet like most pecan pies. Steve's is definitey a great plce to checkout...aisles are a bit narrow, so you're probably gonna be rubbin' elbows and giving and getting a few "excuse me's" if there's many people in the store like a busy Saturday.

I was excited but not surprised because they normally have really good deals and random sales. Well on this occasion I go to pay for them and the lady at the register say this is a really good deal. The lady behind her (older lady) say what and the lady who is assisting me said well I am not sure this is right. The older lady walk over and say not this isn't. She said the should be the price of the legs not wings. She then took all the wings out of my cart and said he can't have them. Called someone from the back gave them the wings and said "he trying to get them for the price of legs. This isn't right take them back." She never told me the price they should of been and never gave me an opportunity to pay the correct price. I asked for the right price and she yelled "2.99 but he should have known that wasn't the right price. ". Referring to me as if I put the price on the meat. I am now debating if I would return to this location. I felt embarrassed and if they felt I was trying to still t from them. I rushed out after paying for the rest of my items yet to return.

| Overview +…read moreConvenient grocery for Asian products + Seafood section is reliable and prices are generally cheaper than H-Mart + Larger area than Grand Asia Market in Raleigh + Affordable Chinese food & noodle dishes from its food concession + Bakery inside is nice - Not the best prices for Kimchi - Lacking Korean favorites and fresh foods that H-Mart offers - Unfriendly customer service - Dining area is often not clean - Some Chinese frozen & canned products are questionable. - Food concession lacks the variety we enjoy in H-Mart and Grand Asia | Recommended Filipino snacks: Clover chips (Cheese flavor) and Nagaraya (Garlic flavor) cracker nuts. Sometimes, these are not available, however. | Full Review My girl & I have been here multiple times to buy ingredients for Asian dishes. We often get fresh salmon and shrimps from the seafood section, and we appreciate how seafood here are generallt cheaper compared to H-Mart in Cary. However, H-Mart is still more reliable overall when it comes to other products like kimchi, Korean side dishes, marinated meats, and various other Asian products. Unlike H-Mart's Korean focus, Li Ming's is primarily Chinese, so it's more line Grand Asia Market in Raleigh. One good thing we like in Li Ming's over Grand Asia is that it's less crowded and more spacious areas. Although it can get crowded here at times, it doesn't feel as congested as Grand Asia's constant overflow of customers coming and going. However, when it comes to the different goods you can get from Grand Asia's restaurant/cafe/bakery, Li Ming's Global Mart falls short. All you can get in Li Ming's are mostly mediocre-tasting Chinese food that goes well with rice and some noodle bowls that may be too salty to some people. The bakery inside Li Ming's is nice; we used to buy egg tarts and curry bread here. It's no Tours les Jours but it's not bad. They also offer boba milk tea but we wouldn't recommend it. As for the canned/preserved/frozen foods in the grocery section, generally, we prefer Korean brands over Chinese ones, so overall, we still prefer going to H-Mart for buying Asian products. Just like in H-Mart, we've seen unfriendly customer service in Li Ming's but no major issues. The most problematic one was when we tried to dine-in and get the 3 choices of food with white rice, and the lady serving had an attitude, and did'nt put enough fish on our plate. | Overall Score: 3.3/5

It was a great suggestion as my food was very good. We ate on the Smokehouse side (there is a deli side as well that share the space and a unique speciality market as well). I ordered their "2-Meat and 2-Sides" meal, and chose the smoked Prime Beef brisket and pulled pork with scalloped potatoes and baked beans. Many other meats were available. The portions were good but the price was rather high but to be expected for this kind of restaurant. It was all excellent. The brisket was smoked and cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. It was not too fatty. The pulled pork was great too as were both my sides. It came with three hush puppies about the size of golf balls or slightly larger. There was plenty of seating despite it being very busy. They have a selection of adult beverages and several unique hard liquor drinks that looked interesting but I just had water. I'll eat here again. I would have liked to have explored the market area further but we did not have time.
