For a fast food place, it was extremely slow. The kids manning the register were very absent-minded. They kept asking the same questions again and again. When we came, there were about 3-4 people waiting for takeout orders and at least 3 occupied tables. We were not told that the kitchen was running behind so it could be a while. After waiting a good 20 mins, I went up to the register to see what was going on and was told that the kitchen was swamped and had missed a bunch of orders. It would be another 15 mins. The only person who seemed to be doing anything, was the manager. At this point, those kids were just standing around talking amongst themselves. At about 35 mins past time, the manager came and said she would refund our money but then we also got our food. What was the food? Lobster rolls, 5 little fried shrimps and funnel cake fries. The only reason I give this place two stars is those lobster rolls which were actually very tasty. The shrimp was also good. I personally don't like funnel cake fries but my friend liked them. We are not coming back. These guys need to sort their kitchen and staff out.

If you enjoy the taste of food poisoning, this is the place for you! During a recent trip to Colorado, I visited this place with my best friend. I checked the Yelp reviews before coming in, and I cautioned him against it. But there's no arguing with some people, and I can't force intelligent decision making. So, off we went. We went through the drive-thru. The guy taking our order severely lacked a personality. He might as well have said, "get your shit and get out" as that's what his tone said. He also didn't know how to make change from a $20 bill. That should have screamed we were in trouble right there. But, I digress. I elected to eat at McDonald's, which was better, cheaper, and faster. That should tell you exactly how this disaster went. My best friend ordered the deluxe seafood platter. The description online says, "For the greatest seafood variety we combine two classic batter dipped fish fillets, four premium breaded shrimp, two seafood stuffed crab shells, hush puppies and your choice of two regular sides." This lovely description wasn't actually on the menu. I had to look it up online to find out what the hell he ordered. It wasn't exactly obvious when he opened the box. The fish was moderately edible. There was copious amounts of batter on the outside, and he picked off a ton. It was fried to an extra-crispy tempura-like texture. The shrimp he chewed a whopping three times before spitting it out. It had a very rubbery texture to it, and tasted like sour cat shit. The seafood stuffed crab shell (I didn't even know this was a thing until my trip here!) tasted like chewing on rubber, and felt springy. Like I could have thrown it across the room and it would have bounced when it landed on the floor, like a bouncy ball. I almost wanted to do this just to try it, except I wasn't in the mood to clean up the grease splatter when it was done. It smelled burnt and was covered in grease. If I hadn't gone online to find out exactly what he ordered, I wouldn't have been able to distinguish what this was. I thought it smelled like rotten fish that had been burnt. The cole slaw was actually the best part of his meal. Although it was clearly a commercial grade product that was store bought, so it was nothing to rave about. Just more edible than the rest of the crap in a box he ordered. The bread stick included in this meal was harder than a rock. I actually picked it up and hit my best friend on the hand with it. I could hear it hit him, it was that solid and tough. I wasn't about to attempt to bite into it, as I likely would have dislocated my jaw. He ordered this platter without hush puppies, asked for no malt vinegar, but wanted cocktail sauce and extra tartar sauce. It came without the hush puppies, copious amounts of malt vinegar, no cocktail sauce, and a moderate amount of tartar sauce. I mean, how hard is this to get right? All of these things are included, and I don't think it was too much information. It's not like he asked for specific amounts of items. But the cashier's attitude probably had something to do with it, not to mention he was busy having a panic attack over having to make change from a $20 bill. The time it took in the drive-thru wasn't all that long, maybe ten minutes. I mean, I was bored out of my mind, but sitting in the car with my bestie, I had some time for good conversation. If I had been on my own, I probably would have started debating the many ways to kill myself when I ran out of things to read on my phone. In comparison to other's wait times, it wasn't horrible. Would I return? Only if I suddenly find myself drunk, high, and retarded, all at the same time. Otherwise, I prefer not to die from food poisoning, or become deathly ill. So the answer is no. I would not return. The customer service is severely lacking. Wal-Mart greeters making minimum wage have more personality. I also prefer my food not to be swimming in grease and rotting for a week before I order it. I hate any kind of fast food or processed food these days, and the McDonald's I ordered was far better than anything I tasted on his platter. I'm honestly kind of amazed this place is still in business. Review 91 of 2017.

I was very pleasantly surprised the food was fresh and hot, and the food was great the only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars, was because the shrimp was a bit salty.

2 piece fish with hush puppies, okra, fries, and clams! Hot and scrumptious!

Pros: Walking in the hostess was helping another couple but did acknowledge us. She went to sit the couple and another staff apologized and said that she will be right with us. We were sat outside and immediately were given water. Our waiter, who I can't remember his name, talked to us and took our drink order. My husband ordered a beer and me an iced tea. He gave us a few minutes before coming back to take our order. We started with the green chili fries and when they came out they were very good. I do wish there was a little bit of spice to it, but not a con. I even ordered a cup of green chili with my shrimp tacos. And my husband ordered the slopper. I loved the shrimp tacos, that I got the lettuce instead of a tortilla. I would highly order and recommend. Husband loved the slipper. He said if you don't see the fries or bun, assume your eating it all. Our waiter is very knowledgeable and was quick with his recommendations. He answered a burger question when asked and took his time with us. We did not feel rushed. My husband also ordered a beer flight and found some he enjoyed. All the staff worked together and matched our personality. Well, my husband's personality. We ended up ordering 3 cups if green chili with their chips. The salsa had a nice kick, mild kick, because they added green chilis to it. It tasted home made. When we had a minor issue with the bill, our waiter took charge and without hesitation took to fix it. We of course had to order dessert. Our waiter came back within minutes to inform some of the desserts were sold out but offered a replacement. I got the peach pie and my husband got the chocolate cake. The peach pie was a perfect mini size Cons: My husband was surprised the manager wasn't walking around ensuring everything ran smoothly. I honestly don't see it as a con. Also, the parking lot is small and when it gets busy I can see walking from another block over. There are 3 spots for the hotel and 4 spots that are a 2 hour limit. Recommended? Absolutely yes. Great food and excellent staff. Everyone here is friendly and seems excited to help the customers. We will definitely be back. And maybe stay at the hotel and walk over to enjoy a hamburger or more shrimp tacos with a cup of green chili

Since we hadn't been here in five years, I mentioned to our waiter how much I was craving a bowl, and he went out of his way to make it happen. That level of service alone made the visit memorable. I also ordered the Velvet Smoke mezcal cocktail, and wow, it was exceptional. Smooth, perfectly balanced, and not too strong. The smoky notes were present but not overpowering, and the nixta slate liqueurs, or heat and bitters brought everything together beautifully. Great service, great drinks, and a team that's willing to go the extra mile. Definitely worth the stop.

I absolutely loved the scotch eggs! I skipped the Reuben bombs since I'm not a big Swiss cheese fan, but everyone else at the table really enjoyed them. I ordered the Jameson meatloaf with mashed potatoes and veggies, and it was amazing -- full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My husband and son both got the fish and chips and couldn't stop talking about how good they were. My daughter loved the kids hamburger, especially the potato chips/fries that came with it. The atmosphere was awesome, the service was top notch, and my husband and I both enjoyed a refreshing beer with lunch. We had such a hard time deciding what to order because so many things on the menu looked great, so we'll definitely be back to try more items. Highly recommend!

I don't think there was anything wrong with the cook of the food, but the seasonings were just way off base to me. The Corned Beef was slathered with a Mustard Crème sauce that should have been served on the side. Some may like it, others will hate it. I didn't care for it. Cabbage seemed to be braised in a heavy Cayenne Pepper broth. It was inedible. The Champs were so bland that you had to shake the hell put of the Salt and Pepper. The Corned Beef without the Mustard sauce was actually pretty good, but so much was slathered with the mustard sauce that it just isn't worth ordering. Bottom line, here is how it breaks down: Service: 5/5. The bartender tonight was exceptional! Food: 3/5 at best due to the second entree ordered (fish & chips) being REALLY GOOD. Overall: 4-5*. The Fish & Chips saved this entire meal. There are a number of things to order from the menu at the bar. Obviously I would stay away from the CB, but I would definitely recommend the fish and chips! When I come back to Pueblo, I would definitely consider coming back here.

What used to feel fun and welcoming now felt uncomfortable the second we walked up. The bouncers immediately gave off a creepy, unsettling vibe. They barely spoke, just made vague hand gestures while avoiding eye contact completely. When they did say something, it was mumbled so quietly you couldn't even understand them. Right from the entrance, the whole atmosphere felt off, but since it was my birthday and I'm newly single, my girlfriends and I decided to give it a chance and try to have a good night anyway. Inside, the place felt dead for a Saturday night. We went to the dance floor, and the only person dancing was an elderly woman who looked close to 80. The energy was nonexistent. The one bright spot of the night was the female bartender near the dance floor -- she was genuinely friendly and gave us the only positive interaction we had there. After that, we walked to the other side of the bar hoping maybe the vibe would improve, but it only got worse. There were barely any people there, almost all men, and the atmosphere became even more uncomfortable. The music was terrible, the crowd felt awkward, and the whole place had this strange, unfriendly energy that made us want to leave as quickly as possible. We finished our drinks and got out of there. Walking past those same creepy bouncers on the way out honestly felt like a relief. It's sad to see a place I used to love turn into somewhere that now feels so unwelcoming and uneasy.
