The outcome was the worst job I have ever seen in my life , poor work , in a hurry , back door not fitted correctly . large holes left in plaster work . In short , so bad , that the fitters were all given their marching orders ! Apparently they had provided poor work in other peoples homes also. So after sending out fitters with questionable ability and expertise ,who left my home in a terrible state they did not even sort the mess out , they did promise to send someone out but after waiting several days ended up having get it done myself. I feel sick when I seen it , they also promised to come out after the job was finished to check the quality and address any problems before I would sign off for completing the payment . Instead they fitters got me to sign a form for what i thought was for paying them the cash for the job. The piece of paper was folded in 2 so I did not see the heading Satisfaction Note . Total Home N I used this to get the money from the finance company . Be careful of this company . Employees have left 5 Star Reviews on Google also .

The staff weren't very helpful even though I very obviously needed help with measurements, colour schemes and the like. I personally prefer Dunelm Mill but I was in the centre of town and couldn't have been bothered traveling about the place. I don't think I will go in again for anything other than a definite item as I just felt a little overwhelmed at all the stuff but the lack of help.

Undoubtedly one of the most important days in a girl's life... I was fortunate enough to be in the shop during sale time, and was even more fortunate to find a blue and white barcode striped duvet cover for half price...£10 ("how do you do it?" is a frequent question asked by my mum). That usual jubilation that suddenly overcomes me the moment I find a bargain eluded me for once. I *had* to phone my mum and dad to ensure that my find was genuine and the bargain was good enough to warrant a purchase. A five minute phonecall later, and we established that this was the case. Phew. A year later, and my blue and white striped duvet cover is still perfectly intact, currently taking pride of place on my bed. Having had such a wonderful experience, when I went back this year to a newly refurbished Spinning Wheel, I was slightly disheartened to find no duvet covers on the bottom floor, despite the fact that this was indicated on the wall. Being in a hurry, I had to go, but I will definitely pop back in for a proper look very soon. And to get lost among all those curtains. Looks like such fun...

It sells timber and other products for joinery if you need it but mainly supplies to the trades men themselves. My mother got her windows fitted by the people here and the service was fantastic. The work was done quickly and without any hassle which is exactly all your need whenever your getting your windows refitted in your house! They came out and gave a very reasonable quote and were able to come out exactly when they said they would. Great service if you need it!

Most recently I was in after one of those small 'fan heater' things to heat up a particularly freezing office and they actually advised me against buying it as it would "eat electricity". I did admire their honesty at the risk of losing a sale. There are tons of appliances and all manner of lighting and bulbs. Apparently they also install lights and the like and have a couple of very experienced electricians who can fit and kit you out with any of the purchases from the shop. Pros: Helpful friendly staff. Cons: Might be a bit hard to find.
