Megan Olson, one of the in-house jewelers, quickly assessed my need and suggested a custom solution which could be constructed that afternoon. She showed me the materials, explained how she would connect the safety and carefully measured so it would fit securely. The price was very reasonable. The work was completed within the hour. I've been wearing the watch for almost a month since the work was done and the safety is very secure and works perfectly! I was pleasantly surprised they could accommodate an out of town walk-in customer and accept a rush job so late in the day. The watch safety provided peace of mind during the rest of my travels. My only regret is that Truman Jewelers is not located in my home state! My trusted local jeweler retired and I wish I could find a company like Truman's in my area to replace my past jeweler. I value professionalism, excellent workmanship, good value and being treated with friendly courtesy. Truman Jewelers delivered all of that and more. They adjusted the bracelet as I waited too which was much appreciated, even after I offered to leave it until later. I did have a watch I did not buy from them adjusted about a year ago and the service was very reasonably priced, especially considering I tried myself and gauged the band. I definitely recommend giving this local shop a shot before you buy from a chain or online. They have a nice sized clearance section and other sales too. Also some pretty cool vintage pieces that may interest some. Haha they even had Downton Abbey jewelry! Who knew!
