Robin did have an issue with some towels and a sheet set that were not washable after one of the guys guys drank one too many hand grenades. She was very concerned with their welfare-fearing it was a serious illness. The charges were totally reasonable and she could not have been nicer saying that since we are being responsible and taking care of the charges with no argument, she would rent to us again. Many places would have tried to gouge us. This was something one of guys in our party did, and was not the fault of Robin or Inn the Quarter. Robin was nothing but gracious and reasonable. The location was amazing-close to all the fun on Bourbon Street. The units are kept up very well-being spotless when we checked in. There was some construction going on the patio. The guys working on the project gave us advise on an excellent place to park for free. They also told us about a local street festival going on outside the quarter in the Irish Channel. We had a great time. It really is a great value-and is highly recommended.

We stayed at the Stay Alfred Vacation Rentals this year for NOJAZZ Fest and had a wonderful suite. It's near to everything (as the first yelper mentioned.) So close to Canal, Bourbon, the trolley.... The room was fine for 3 couples. We loved the convenient weight room and small pool on the roof. We might book here again with friends next Jazz Fest!

The only disadvantage regarding to the building was that the all facilities were closed at midnight which was kind annoying, i would suggest to keep the hot tub and the game room and other facilities open but to put a note for the guests to use that with cautious and care for other residents. the building is SUPER close to all attractions and great places, exactly 5 to 8 minutes walking. 3 - The only point we had that we wanted to postpone our trip due to severe weather warning in Houston (TX) and New Orleans and the Stay Alfred was not able to hold credit for us to be used in future use like to use within 60 days or something like that which was a bit annoying since we did not want to drive through a severe thunder storm and take the risk, we hope that to add this advantage to the system where customers can buy an insurance through you guys in order to hold credit in case they had an emergency case to re-use that credit within 60 days window. I rented a property on St. Philip Street listed under this property management company that was…read moreinfested with termites. I called several times about the issue, and they allowed the landlord to just send his maintenance guy, which simply sprayed over the counter bug spray in the walls. The termites were swarming in the house and eating through the walls, and just before I moved out they sent me a paper saying they were raising the rent! They were aware of the issue when I moved in as the neighbors had been dealing with this for at least a year prior. They just patched it up, kept most of my deposit, and re rented it. It was so bad that my personal property was damaged inside the apartment. Beware if you rent from them.

This stay involved a clear violation of platform policies and a serious misrepresentation of what…read morewas booked. We booked and paid for a 4-bedroom condo with higher capacity and a proper view. After extending our stay directly with the management company (Hosteeva), we were substituted without our consent into two smaller adjoining apartments. Although the apartments had a similar layout, they were objectively lower value: reduced suitability for a group stay, inferior configuration, and a wall-facing view instead of the view shown in the original listing. Despite receiving a downgraded accommodation, we were charged at a higher rate than the substituted apartments normally command, meaning we paid more than we should have for what we actually received. A condo is a single integrated living space; what we were given were two separate units with duplicated appliances and no shared living area. This substitution was never disclosed or approved and violates listing accuracy and host reliability standards. Additional problems during the stay included: * Air conditioning not working for more than three days (indoor temperatures around 78°F+) * Smoke alarms malfunctioning and then removed instead of repaired * Elevator out of service for the entire weekend * Maintenance entering without notice * Ongoing disruptions and poor coordination Airbnb ultimately closed the case with only a partial refund, without addressing the core issue of the unauthorized downgrade and overcharging. Hosteeva's compensation offer did not reflect the rate difference, loss of value, or disruption to the trip. Importantly, reviews for this property and management company cannot be relied upon. Compensation was offered in connection with reviews, which undermines the integrity of review systems and is contrary to the policies of most review platforms. The experience caused significant stress, exhaustion, and loss of enjoyment. We were able to enjoy only one day of what should have been a planned vacation. This listing and management company should not be relied upon to deliver the unit advertised or to charge appropriately for the accommodation provided. Guests should confirm in writing that they will receive the exact unit shown at booking. Until these practices change, I cannot recommend this stay or Hosteeva.
