When we arrived, the door was locked, no one was there, no key to be found, no note, and when we called the number provided we were greeted with a "mailbox full" message. We left the proprietor an email to which she replied the following day with a "gee I'm sorry, I put your reservation on the wrong date in my calendar". Though she did refund our original fee, she also agreed to compensate us the difference in rates for where we were lucky enough to find a room. We are still awaiting this payment. I would not recommend this establishment. These are irresponsible, unprofessional proprietors. I shudder to think what would have become of us if we weren't able to secure other accommodations. Who would want to start their holiday like this?

I have taken short trips for the weekend and even stayed as long as a week. Over our visits we have stayed in all 3 suites and they are all fantastic!!! Since my first stay in 2011 I have returned numerous times. I relocated to New Orleans in 2013 and the worst part about living here is not being able to stay at The Bearigny. But I do send my visiting friends and family to the Bearigny and I've even done a staycation or two. Can not wait for my next visit!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The side mirror fell off throughout the entire trip, the generator went out leaving us without AC for an entire day of travel, the septic system has a horrible smell, the turn signal bulb went out, and to top it off when we returned the motorhome we were told not to worry about checking the mileage! When it was time to get the $500.00 deposit back we only received half because they claimed we went over our mileage by 1000miles!! This property is PERFECT for a New Orleans getaway - and the management is beyond compare…read more The Greatmen Cottage is so much more than the word "cottage" implies. It is tastefully furnished, pristine, and has the feel of a luxury hotel. Everything from the impeccable interior design to the beautiful walled-in-courtyard seemed designed for our every comfort and ease. We felt like we truly had found the best of homes in New Orleans when we stayed here during Mardi Gras of 2016. The space is close to the action (near many excellent restaurants, coffee shops and retail spaces in the Bywater itself, and within easy walking distance or a short cab or Uber ride to the French Quarter). But at the end of a long day of exploring and revelry, I cannot express enough how wonderful it was to come home to this clean, well-lit space where we could relax in comfort. As spectacular as the cottage is, it is also spectacularly managed. It was very easy to book, and the owner has provided an incredibly detailed property overview and recommendations about area eateries, bars, and other attractions that is very useful. He had thought of everything we could have needed. We have been to New Orleans many times, and this is our first choice for lodging in the city. It is by far the most beautiful and best-run vacation rental that we have ever used and we plan on returning again and again!

The Grenoble House is a great location and easy walking for anything in the Quarter. The cable car is an easy, inexpensive way to go to other areas of NOLA. Also a scenic journey. Upon check-in, we were greeted by Michael who was very friendly and accommodating. We saw Michael again when checking out. I was having difficulty with Apple Pay and couldn't get Uber. Michael not only fixed my phone, but he called a taxi for us. Speaking of taxis, NOLA has a regulation that taxis must charge a fixed rate from the airport to anywhere in the French Quarter and around it and they must accept credit cards and offer a receipt. The same regulation applies when heading to the airport. The current rate is $36.00. I will certainly consider Grenoble House again when visiting NOLA. Laissez le bons temps rouler!!!!

This transportation service changed our reservation the MORNING of our wedding after one of their buses got in an accident. This unfortunate event (which was no fault of ours) affected our entire wedding. They attempted to proceed with one bus instead of the two separate buses we reserved, the driver drove like he was a race car driver (which was concerning on a whole different level! My mom even had to ask the driver to slow down & one of my bridesmaid almost got car sick), the second pick-up for our guests was severely late, the ceremony had to start late, our guests sat outside in the cold waiting for the bus, which made our reception shorter than we paid for, etc. I have called FIVE different times and sent THREE emails explaining the entire situation with my voice still not being heard. When I was planning for my destination wedding, this was the one thing I was most worried about and my fears came true. It was a disaster. If you want peace of mind and confidence that you and your guests will be transported safely and timely (and if there's an issue, your issue will be addressed) - I do NOT recommend this company.
