Located on a small side street near the Dom, I stumbled upon this place on a Monday evening after braving artic cold temperatures. Is this place a Michelin starred restaurant? Absolutely not. But there was a warm, inviting atmosphere, excellent waitstaff who spoke English, 9 candlelit tables, soothing music, and the price was very reasonable (16 euros for lasagna, glass of wine and tiramisu). The waitress went out of her way to make me understand the lasagna I ordered was salmon and spinach (lasagna mit lachs und spinach), which when it arrived was quite good (albeit not light!) with a cream sauce. The tiramisu was a bit dry, but still delicious and homemade. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town when looking for a casual intimate local place. read more
