I promise you you will be so successful on this side but anyway kudos to you guys for running a great business. There's a Lyft bike dock like a block away, and many Muni lines come around here (hey, it is the Financial District.) Interior is very sleek, clean, and modern. I like how they had a water refilling station and some salts (hey, you sweat so much, you really need to replenish!) They also have cool towels which are so helpful because it is HOT in there!

He's also a dog lover and took great care of my dog while I worked out. Even gave him some treats which was super sweet of him!! I was initially worried I might not have access to the same equipment I had at other locations due to the smaller space but that wasn't an issue at all!! They also have a bunch of stuff to aid in recovery that I didn't know about. Ryan recommended the inflatable compression sleeves for my legs. I had never tried them before and he walked me through putting them on. Highly recommend this gym and am grateful for Ryan!

About a year ago, they had a policy of onsite lane reservations, which is the right thing to do if you don't have online lane reservations. You had a clear start and end time, could plan your workout, and actually get a full swim in. For some reason, they've stopped doing that. Now you show up with no idea if you'll even get a lane, let alone finish in time to get to work. They're also allowing three or more people per lane, which is just unrealistic. Once a third person joins, it stops being a workout and turns into traffic management. You can forget about flip turns entirely. The lane speed designations don't help either. Most people are on tight schedules and aren't going to wait around for the "right" lane to open up. They also block off a lane for personal training, which is understandable, but that lane could still accommodate another swimmer. Decisions like this chip away at what's supposed to be a core service. Most pools in the city allow reservations. You can reserve a lane. Some even have a no show fee which totally works. you can't trust humans to so the right thing here because they in most cases won't. Bottom line, the lack of reservations and overcrowding make it impossible to plan a consistent, efficient swim. It turns something that should be straightforward into a daily gamble.

Kwanua, Jenn, Tiffany, Fabi and Joseph provided such amazing support and community. The classes pushed me hard in the best kind of way, and I felt stronger and happier after every visit. The on-site childcare allowed me some precious time while my baby was well cared for. The communications are very responsive. There is generally parking available in the area. The small class format allows for focus on each person and creating community. This women-owned, women-oriented space is more than just a workout studio--it's a community that lifts you up both physically and mentally. When I first joined, I didn't have much experience with strength training, but the coaches(Kwanua is the best!!!) were incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. They met me where I was, encouraged progress at my own pace, and celebrated every win along the way. I really felt they cared for my well being. The environment is welcoming, non-judgmental, and full of amazing women who genuinely cheer each other on. There's a real sense of camaraderie and mutual respect here that's hard to find elsewhere.

I reached out to diakadi because multiple people told me it was the best personal training gym, and I'm so glad I did. From the outset Billy was so kind and helpful, introducing me to my trainer Jaime. It's been 4 months since I started working out with Jaime and the results are clear -- I can wrangle my boys, carry heavy things, and have more endurance in all the tasks of being a mom. I feel stronger. Diakadi's trainers go through a rigorous interview process and looking around every time I go people are working out in a way that supports long term health and fitness, vs the way group fitness pushes you but often at the expense of injury. With all the literature on the importance of muscle mass for long term health, this is hands down the best investment in myself I've made in the past few years.

They usually provide locks and hair ties in the front and all the teachers are very nice and friendly! This studio and the classes/teachers used to be better, but it has changed a lot in recent years…read more.. and not for the better. Most recent experience: The last time I was at this CorePower was such a frustrating experience! There was a group of us waiting outside the studio for class, but no one ever showed up to open the studio nor teach the class, and no one was answering their phones (we also tried to reach out to their support center). On top of that, the weather was wet and awful (obv don't blame the studio for that, but waiting outside for so long with no contact from anyone at CP wasn't great). When they finally responded to my support messages, they reimbursed my booked class and gave me an extra class that expires in one month, but it was still very unprofessional that this happened at all. Classes: After pandemic, the studio is less busy which is admitted kinda nice sometimes as there isn't a struggle to find space in class even during "rush" times; however, this also means that a lot of their classes have been getting cancelled. It's unclear why, though I suspect a combo of lack of signups and the inability to find a substitute if the scheduled teacher is unavailable at short notice. Teacher Training: They're always pushing their teacher training programs and it seems like teachers graduate often. When taking class at the same time a training is going on, the student teachers often socialized in the lobby during their break, making it more challenging to get through to the class.
