Got my beautiful Begonia here and a Christmas cactus! Its so cute and so healthy…read more They put them in a cute lil gift box (My daughter bought them for me!) and it made me feel really special as I was having a hard week. I am a plant enthusiast and I love to hoard plants. This is a dangerous place for a plant hoarder! lol

Dig Gardens in Santa Cruz has it all: plants, trees, succulents, pots, planting accessories,…read morebooks, gifts, furniture, cards, and even jewelry.... But did you know they also have classes?!!! I KNOW, RIGHT?!! That's crazy. I thought they had everything, but now they really do! I took my first class at Dig Gardens: it was to make a Kokedama (a plant growing out of a moss ball that you can hang or place). It was taught by Kitty, whom I adore because, well, she's the sweetest. I picked a Lemon Lime Prayer Plant, named it "Stanley", and had to rework it several times to a point that it was almost embarrassing. Thankfully I know the instructor, so that made it better. Haha. The other "students" were awesome because aren't all plant parents and plant lovers the best?!! Well we all laughed when we lost leaves or messed up. It was really fun. This class included all the materials, tools, your choice of plant, and drinks (water or wine). No one surprisingly chose wine - I guess we took Kokodama very seriously! It was a 2 hour class but finished in 1.5 hours. It was around $65 I believe, and totally worth the experience as well as all the materials. Classes take place behind the store in a little workshop in the outdoor garden. Only a couple people took the class with a friend, and everyone else took it solo, like me. I would definitely take another class here.

I come here every week on Sunday. I am obsessed with this plant shop! Maria and Clay are so sweet,…read moreknowledge and take the time to answer all questions. I have several plants, plant pots and even other random hand crafted items from their shop. All my plants are so healthy! I didn't take photos of the shop as it had lots of customers, wanted to protect privacy. Highly recommend stopping by

Our plant prayers have been answered and it's Leaf & Vine!…read more Recently opened next to Starbucks on Camden and Hwy 17, this adorable plant shop is chock full of delightful plants, supplies to keep our babies thriving, and thoughtfully curated gifts like soy candles. There is something for everyone here! I'm sad that I didn't take more than one photo (this time), but expect to walk into a bright, lush, green and homey space. They've got air plants, pothos, monstera, lithops in a variety of colors, carnivorous plants, orchids, rare plants, and so much more! I didn't even know where to look first - a kid in a candy shop The owners were so nice and welcoming! Very knowledgeable about plants and took time to share more about items like bringing in pottery from local artists (we went home with a gorgeous planter). They just opened a little over a week ago so they're in the process of getting everything tagged, but if you have any questions, just ask and they'd be happy to help! They also have a location in Santa Cruz, in case you happen to be out there! Let's talk prices. They are so reasonable. The plants are really healthy (lots of flowering succulents, budding plants) and worth the prices. I already have an idea of what I want to get next time! Don't miss out on visiting this fabulous place!

Leaf & Vine, Urban Plant Shop - I love my Marble Queen Pothos (or Snow Queen as they are actually the same thing). It has the look of a great Dane's coat.
