The inside also seems a bit smaller. The refrigerated goods were in an upright fridge, not the lower level ones like other locations. It took me some time to find them, but I was still was able to get my salad and hard boiled eggs so I was happy. Everything else was the same, nice clean bathroom, great variety of food and beverages and plenty of New Glarus beer! The staff was friendly and we got a Kwik rewards card since we will be driving in Wisconsin more. This isn't far from the Madison campus of Wisconsin, so if you are in the area, stop in!

The overnight guy is out at night constantly sweeping, picking up litter, or shoveling. The store always smells of fabuloso. Everything is always neat and in place. I live very close to here and I frequent this place quite regularly. Like I said, the fact that they build relationships with the regulars is so important. Plus, with the collegiates having this location and the campus Camp Randall location it's actually stress less to just give the kids a gift card and bam... they can feed themselves. Now I get it! I was road tripping near Wisconsin Dells last week and decided to check out a Kwik Trip, and was very impressed. They sell real food, like fresh fruits and vegetables, boxed meals- like fried chicken, sandwiches that looked fresh, not like the weird plastic triangle boxed sandwiches you find in vending machines or in gas station coolers. There were plenty of fresh, healthy options. And loads of donuts! They seem to sell a line of donuts, or similar bakery items, that looked fab but I didn't cave. I was really tempted to try the blueberry donuts, but I definitely couldn't buy a full box of six. I wish they sold them individually. The checker was super nice, very welcoming. They also left the sign up in lights about the car wash, so I bought a car wash, and then had to see the cashier, went in, and she looked at me like I was an idiot and goes "the car wash is broken" -- how would I know that? The cashiers here are sometimes friendly and welcoming. Other times they have their headphones in and don't even say hello. One time I was there and one employee was screaming about another to someone.

This is your typical KT the Cadillac of gas stations with everything you would except including food store/convenience store with a shake machine that one day I'm going to try. I was craving something cold to drink with ice and since I don't drink soda because of the sugar so I would try Diet Coke for my road trip. In all honesty I realize why I drink water se much because Diet Coke is horrible which I would have never guessed by all the people I see drinking it. The KT stores always look modern and clean which I like. The employees are always friendly with a greeting and see you next time when you leave, I just like the brand.
