As a new patient to Dr. Baron and the team at Capital Interventional, I am pleased to say I was very impressed with the professionalism, level of knowledge/experience and most importantly commitment to my care. I have worked with 3 cardiologists over the past 5 years. The first was not interested in quality care, the second was very good but just retired. READ THIS !!!!!! Mary replied to a YELP in mid last year that the service appreciated the feedback of another customer and said that the feedback would cause improvement........ I can honestly say that simply DID NOT HAPPEN.... Mary is excellent at apologizing but is seemingly incapable of making true improvements. Sorry to say, however if you need a service which is done by this provider, quickly find another service!! Their office staff is deplorable and a clearly incapable of proper scheduling. An individual who scheduled an appointment and had to wait 2 months to get one, was called the night before and was informed of "new guidelines". Her appointment was for 10 am the next morning. The individual jumped through hoops to meet the newly determined guidelines in order to keep the long awaited appointment. She spoke to the office staff and CONFIRMED that the newly introduced guidelines were met and confirmed her appointment for the next morning. The individual called the following morning ( due to the obvious lack of office staff professionalism the night before) and she was told that they have DECIDED to cancel her appointment. She was told they could reschedule her for the next day. When the individual asked about the protocol of their new policy and the fact that it would be void the following day, she was told not to worry about it, they could NOW make an exception !! REALLY ??? We don't think the executive staff , leaders and Doctors here know of the disastrous impact their policies and immediate changing of policies and not upholding their policies coupled with the inability of their office staff has on their clients, customers and patients. GO Elsewhere!! Sorry.... I live to write great reviews but this organization forced the writing and truthful account of their poor organizational skills. read more

0 stars. This place is beyond horrible. I was referred to Dr. Hemphill by my PCP. I can't speak to Dr. Hemphill because I never got to meet him. Even though I requested an appointment with him and waited over a month for my appointment, when I showed up I was told I'd be seeing his PA named Kevin. Kevin is, without a doubt, the worst medical professional I have ever dealt with (and I work in the medical field!). I could not even finish a sentence before being interrupted. I wasted a lot of my time and money here. They are always running over 1 hour late on their appointments and they never apologize. All around just a horrible medical practice. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Baron. He is very nice and I feel like I get good care from him. I do usually have to wait a long time in the exam room...I've waited an hour on one occasion. That's a long time while sitting in a paper gown. I agree with the other reviews about the EKG technician. She has never been pleasant...very abrupt....she makes me very uncomfortable; to the point where I hate going to their office. Since I no longer live in Sacramento I am going to find a cardiologist near my winter home in Arizona. I don't have any current issues so I don't feel the need to continue at their office. It's a shame that one person can make the whole office experience so unpleasant. read more

I saw the P.A., who was really nice. But I had an echo there and was told I would get the results that day. I've been calling them just about every week to find out the results without any luck. I'm assuming everything was fine, but someone who has heart issues I don't know. Would not recommend this office. read more

My care with Capitol Interventional Cardiology has been exceptional. Dr. Hemphill is brilliant. His attention to my care has been extraordinary. He always has a thorough knowledge of my medical history and follows up immediately. I can not I imagine better care. read more

Dr Hemphill is a good dr. Now the EKG lady, she's the reason the place gets ONLY 3 stars. NOT very patient friendly. I don't know, NOR care if she's always having aBad day.She didn't even tell my mom (the patient she can get off the table & put her clothes back on) you are dealing with CARDIAC patients. PATIENTS period, you need to be some what friendly. I do medical billing follow-up & am friendly dealing with insurances, not even patients. If this was her PCP id tell the doctor ASAP, we don't have to be here every 2 months THANK GOD. read more

I was a little apprehensive about going to this practice after reading the reviews. I am SO GLAD my PCP referred me to Dr. Bezwada, she is amazing. Professional, smart, very friendly, well spoken and happy to answer all my questions. Skylar, the PA is an absolute diamond!! Friendly & professional, and has a way of taking the stress right out of the room! I arrived approx 10 minutes before my appointment and was seen within 10 minutes of my arrival. I dont applaud anyone or anything lightly, this review is 100% deserved. The staff up front, the folks answering phones and assisting with follow up appointments were all very friendly and made me feel like a PRIORITY, which is rare these days. I have no idea what it was like before my visit on 2/3/22, but I can tell you it doesn't get much better than this!!! read more

Dr. Stauber was the only redeeming grace of this practice. He seemed to actually care, but his hands are tied when he lacks support. The practice's support staff, specifically the intake, records, and billing departments, leave something to be desired. I will be seeing a different cardiologist in the future for this reason. read more

Husband's medical is through the VA. However they are not set up to perform some cardiac services therefore he was approved to go through a cardiologist with Dignity and Capitol interventional Cardiology. He was there in 2018 with a pacemaker and then back again this June with another heart attack. The cardiologist is great the office staff is the worst! THEY DO NOT RETURN CALLS!!! Still waiting after five days of leaving messages. I don't know if they even have a staff! The only bright light for them is the one person who actually answered the phone and listened to me, then put notes on both the doctor's desk and Julia's the supposed secretary. THANK YOU SKYLER! No improvement from the last time we were there three years ago and sat in an exam room for an hour. read more

I wish there is a negative star option and I would have given that to this place. specially to the medical record team and the answering service. My dad was seen in the office for 2 tests and results were ready right away and this office took five days and 100 calls from me and my dad's primary doctor to send them a result . When I called and spoke to the manager she told me that there is no documentation or notation of me calling them at all. I myself work in healthcare as a nurse and I do understand how important documentation is but the office does not take any heart patient seriously. Would never ever go their again. Every time I talk to someone they were so eager to tell me how much it's gonna cost me but not ready to help me with anything else. Please never ever go there everyone! read more

the previous reviewer is right about the ekg person, her name is diane and she is miserable hag, she has no manners whatsoever and i wonder why that place employs her. it speaks something about the management and how the place is run in general. Dr.Hemphill is a so so doctor, not particularly attentive, has a fake smile and is just there to earn his paycheck, at least that is what our impression of him is. read more
