I was in the area and noticed their food truck and I just loved the vibes. They had music playing and once I saw the menu this was exactly what I needed. I ordered the hot honey old bay wings with mac and cheese and fries and I also got banana pudding. In total I spent about $29. It was FREEZING this day and they were so kind to bring my food to me in my car. The food smelled heavenly and I ate everything in my car and wow it was so so good. The wings were so good it didn't need any sauce or condiment and they were the perfect size. I waited until I got home to try the banana pudding and it didn't even stand a chance against my sweet tooth and all I have is an empty container to show for it. Delicious. My only cons were my wings and mac and cheese were a little bit too salty. Overall, I really liked this spot, they gained a fan and I will be back.

I also decided to try the fried chicken wings. Unfortunately, none of the food was enjoyable. The fish was extremely salty and overcooked. The potato salad was honestly horrible, and the greens had far too many stalks and needed to be cooked much longer. The wings were just as salty as the fish and were also disappointing. I ended up throwing everything away. The food was borderline inedible, which was extremely disappointing, especially after spending money on a meal I couldn't even eat. So here I am, still hungry, but I spent money on food I couldn't eat, and I really don't want anything else because of the bad taste in my mouth. It's truly unfortunate because the customer service was very friendly and helpful. Based on my experience, I couldn't possibly recommend this food truck. I should probably check my blood pressure. I'm sure it's sky high from all the salt in my meal.

Their burritos are perfect just the way they come. Im not a big fan of black beans but ill gladly get them in this burrito because its soo good. Every ingredient compliments each other and provides for a perfect burrito. My choice between chipotle and this food truck, I will choose this place 10 out of 10. Gotta go with the Steak Burrito. My only issue sometimes is the service. Out of the 4 times I have been there they have messed something up twice. But I only fault that to being a new food truck. The people serving food were no less wet than I was, but they were still going strong, at 1pm in this thunderstorm (later, I discovered it was a tornado warning). I pieced together a cheese quesadilla and black bean soup combo for $7, and ate it under the awning at Cosi's. I don't know how to upload photos to Yelp, but I took a selfie with them in the rain. They took a picture of me too, as I ordered. The quesadilla was alright. I didn't notice the big container of salsa they gave me until the very end, so it wouldn't be fair for me to say it wasn't good. Dipping it in the black bean soup with salsa on top made for a fun, campy meal. Probably not worth $7 in other parts of the world, but you're in Ballston... :).

Today, I saw a bunch of people walking around with this DELICIOUS-looking lemon sorbet with almond crisps. I had to get me some of that! I found the truck outside Cole Field House with the Farmer's Market and ordered a grilled steak sandwich (no cheese) and the sorbet. I am currently eating the sandwich and it is GOOD. Mmmmmmm. It's a big ol' hunk of steak with arugula, pickled red onions (super yummy) on rosemary focaccia and it's quiiiiite good. And this lemon sorbet is outta this world. They also had a super cute lemonade with the straw stuck through a lemon. A whole lemon XD Cute! And it looked really good, too. They also have Miss Vickie's kettle-cooked chips and soup and salads. Omnomnom. Menu changes biweekly, the staff is all super friendly, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else this truck has to offer.

Right now they're there on Mondays and Thursdays -- I recall searching for them on other days, but I didn't see them at the locations their website said they would be. But since it's been consistently coming to 19th Street, I have had the opportunity to have it twice, and I had the JerkBowl each time. The chicken comes off the bone so easily, and it is indeed JERKED! It's got a great taste, and the yellow rice it comes with compliments it very well. I will be trying their mac and cheese and greens in the near future, hopefully. I hope that they continue to get great business because this is food that should not be ignored! They also have some signature sandwiches like their "Jimmy Blue"(Maryland lump crab cake $20), and their "Fall off the Bone"(24 hour LuvRub-Ribs-w/BBQ sweet sauce $10). So I'm not a huge Salmon fan, but their pan seared fish with peppers, jerk sauce with a hint of bbq...made me a bigger fan!! Deliciousness!! Lastly I tackled that Mac n Cheese...I was leery via the price, and the "World Famous" title. When you go...GET IT...it's worth it. Customer service was phenomenal, they patiently explained their meals, and spotlighted the freshness of their food (which you can definitely taste). Parking is tricky, it's a very small lot they share. GO!! TRUST!! That's it.

My parents were visiting for the day and we were all hungry. I told them about this new truck that I had been wanting to check out, and so we all went. They've been wanting to try some new taco spots anyway (they're all near me), so this was the perfect opportunity. We all got some tacos -- specifically chicken for me. And I also got a chicarron (porkbelly) gordita. When we got home, we absolutely enjoyed everything. Flavors, portions, quality... all of it tasted on point to us. I'm looking forward to trying more on their menu and discovering new local trucks... I know there are plenty of them out there.
