They start off by having you check in by asking you the famous questions that they asked everybody which is basically if you've been outside of the country if you been outside of the State that are under the quarantine ban New York State and then finally have you been hanging out with your covid-19 friends. As long as you answered no to all of those they take your temperature and they give you a little sticky note to give to the nurse who takes your vitals and you're on your way. This is a great setup and it works out well. They have their chairs blocked off so that you can't sit next to each other so what increases social distancing in the waiting area. The reason why I dropped it down a star is because the wait times have gotten really long and it's just a little bit one-sided in that effect because if you're late to your appointment you get canceled but they can be late to their appointment and we just have to deal with it. Now onto my Dr Jessica Berman MD. I will say this she is one heck of a doctor she has been seeing me now for probably 11 years maybe even a little bit longer and she has been on point with me all the time and she holds me accountable which is something that I need at times. My wife is also seen by her and my wife has nothing but positive things to say about the doctor. Both of my sons one is age 22 and one is 11 and they are both seen by her as well and she is an excellent doctor in every facet of care that is given to my family. The only unfortunate part is right now she's not accepting new patience but I do recommend this facility because if these doctors are anything like Dr Berman then they have an excellent practice on their hands. I have had intestinal problems with IBS D for the past 15 years after I recovered from Autoimmune Hepitis. Dr Ford gave me the name of a product called Banatrol and suggested other supplements and within 4 Days, my symptoms disappeared. Today we continued our discussion and he suggested more ways I can continue to improve my health by changing diet and understanding how my body works. Finally I am getting the medical advice I need to feel better and not take more perscriptions. I look forward to seeing him again and learning more information. He has the answers. I am very happy.

You speak to the receptionists through glass…read more There is no chance anyone will remember you from visit to visit, because the front staff seems to change every time I have been there. It's a pain in the butt to call and schedule an appointment. So, why four stars? Dr. Etienne is the best PC doctor I have ever seen. She listens, is attentive, warm, and thoughtful. I never feel rushed and I always feel heard and cared for. I cannot recommend her highly enough. The place itself is 2/3 stars - Dr. Etienne is 5 stars. So I met in the middle at 4 stars. One thing to know about this practice is that they are a teaching facility, so you're often asked if it's okay if a medical resident can be a part of the appointment. I always say yes and have never felt overwhelmed by having the second person there.

She's perfect but she'll tell you she's not. Anyways, I've seen two different doctors since and they were dismissive, judgemental, and one made a VERY classist remark to me. The receptionists and nurses are hit/miss but when they miss, you just feel so uncomfortable. My PCP straight didn't believe my diagnosis when it came out of my mouth and is getting records sent, I don't mind sending the records but he accused me of lying and how is that professional on any level? Without going into my personal history/issues I just want to say how ashamed these doctors have made me feel just to be alive. I called today to try to get an appointment because I'm sick and the receptionist didn't even let me finish my sentence before transferring me to the wrong department. I hung up and didn't call back. It's such an unsafe environment because you'll be neglected. They treat you as if you're drug seeking when you just may be looking for alternatives, testing, or plain validation of your concerns. The only positive experience I've ever had with Ellis is with Dr, Etienne, bless her heart. I'm so sad she's not accepting new patients. Please go somewhere else if you can. I'm going to have to travel to Albany because I won't tolerate this much longer. You deserve to meet with a provider who cares about your physical and mental well being. You deserve to have a doctor who WANTS to help you. Ellis is full of soulless employees that are there for a check. This is my experience and I've lived in and out of Schenectady my entire life. It's also the experience of many you ask about Ellis. They need reformation completely.

The medical assistants and nurses take their time with communicating with us both to make sure our information is updated and accurate so that Ginny (Virginia Larner, PA-C) can provide the best medical and wellness advice to maintain our reasonably good health. They also are in consistent communication with our specialists which also is a great help. We've had doctors in the past that were pill pushers and appeared to always be in a hurry to get us in and out with a prescription. Finally, we have found a health care provider that we are 100% pleased with.

Non the less I needed dental work so she declined his inappropriate talk and set a date for my dental work. At my appointment instead of an exam and appropriate dental care. In revenge, he ripped three (3) healthy, viable teeth from the upper front of my mouth and I now have a problem chewing, not to mention the after pain. My wife subsequently received a threatening letter from some one named Rory Ogden alleged Dental Director. I will seek legal advice regarding this terrible treatment bestowed on my wife who is a pastor at her church and for malpractice bestowed on myself.

She's an outstanding provider. She treats the mind, body, and soul of each patient rather than just their diagnosis. This is a great quality to have as a doctor and it makes a huge difference. I would recommend Internal Medicine & Linda to anyone. I was nervous changing providers but switching to Linda is like a breath of fresh air. My old doctor does not even compare to Linda. All of the nurses at this location are excellent as well. Being a nurse myself I always expect for the nurses to be exceptional and at this location they are nothing less than that. I was very happy with my visit and my experience. They also have an online portal that you can sign up for and review all of your labs, appointments, make/change/cancel appointments, request prescription refills, etc. Wicked convenient. Instead of making a thousand phone calls all of the information you need is just a few clicks away. I took away one star because the parking isn't optimal.
