I'm leaving this review for Yanelly Rochin, our lender. She is truly amazing and a complete professional at what she does. My husband and I were so impressed by how responsive she was at all hours of the day whenever we texted her with even our most random questions. Yanelly always took the time to break everything down for us in detail so we could fully understand each step of the process. She made complex information feel simple and manageable, which meant so much to us as first-time homebuyers. She was also incredibly willing to go above and beyond to help with paperwork--even when it wasn't directly part of her side of the home buying process. She even met with us in person at a coffee shop to help us fill out forms properly. That kind of dedication and personal care is rare these days, and we truly appreciated it. As visual learners, my husband and I especially valued how clearly she explained things both in person and through her detailed, easy-to-understand emails. She was patient, supportive, and genuinely committed to making sure we understood everything. Since this was our first home buying experience, having Yanelly guide us through every issue that came up made all the difference. Another lender we spoke with didn't even attempt to provide that level of support. We will absolutely be recommending Yanelly to anyone in need of a lender. She is professional, knowledgeable, and one of the kindest people we've had the pleasure of working with and now I can say we became friends! She is definitely invited to the carne asadas for life! read more

Marty and his team are a great combination to help you through all of your financial services. We have used them three times and every time Marty has been honest and forthcoming about the process and outcome of all of our selections. Even through the pandemic, Marty and his team managed to help us refinance at a great rate and saved us tons of money per month on our mortgage. I would recommend CMS to anyone looking for financial services in the VC. I am looking forward to using them again very soon. Thanks Marty and Team! read more

Marty's group was fantastic and unlike any other dry, stick in the mud, company I have had to use in the past. It was no muss, no fuss, I never felt like I should feel sorry for myself because we needed money when the market changed and we needed funds in addition to what we We're getting from our the Sale of our house. We got our money right away! Thank you Marty! read more

Capital Mortgage Services (CMS) is amazing! Buying a house can be very stressful, but everyone at CMS was helpful, caring and professional. Marty was particularly helpful; he returned phone calls quickly, answered all our questions(and there were many), and went out of his way to make sure that we were not stressing. He made our home buying experience the best it could be. I wouldn't go anywhere else for our mortgage needs. I have already recommended Capital Mortgage Services to all my friends and family. read more

When it came time for us to refinance our home, we called Marty Smith. He has worked with us on a few home loans in the past and always gets the job done. I highly recommend him and his team. He and his team communicated with us throughout the process and they didn't stop until the job was done. read more

Marty was outstanding in helping us refinance. He explained everything thoroughly, he was straight forward, transparent and no games. He went above and beyond to help us, always responded quickly to our questions, and made everything easy. I really appreciated that he didn't come off as he was just trying to make a sale but instead genuinely wanted to help us. We've had a few bad experiences before and it was really refreshing to work with someone like Marty. We've already recommended him to 3 of our friends and will continue to do so. Really happy with our experience and will use him again when we're ready to buy a new house! read more

I have to say that Marty is a very patient man! I initially got information from him about 6 years ago and ended up not buying a home. He answered every question I had and never made me feel like I was difficult. Just last month I finally bought a home. He had me approved in about 15 minutes. Marty and his whole team were extremely responsive to every email. They really made things happen for our loan, which was not easy and got it closed in 26 days! I would highly recommend Capital Mortgage Services! read more

Amazing service. Knowledgeable. Fast responses to my questions from the whole team. And Marty answered every one of my 50 million questions through the process of buying a house and refinancing 6 months later. read more

Marty and his team were very helpful, and gave us all the information we needed during our refinancing process. This is the third time we have used Marty and his team and we will be back again when needed. read more

Huge disappointment. After four and the half months hassle I did not get a phone call, that they can not make through the loan what was originally promised to refinance my duplex. Actually the original loan was lowered by $60,000, just to make it easier to push through. Furthermore they even ordered an appraisal ($675) during the process. Zero communication. There was always complains why Jerry did not do, what I was told earlier he will do. At last I was told, nobody could do that loan anymore. I still got the same rate and higher loan amount from an other company, they even charged less. read more

Marty and his team really are the best. I've done 3 loans with Marty and the process has been so easy and efficient. I threw his a curveball with one of my homes and needed to close in 21 days instead of 45 last minute he made it happen. I have referred him many times to friends and family after there lender couldn't make it happen. Marty always did. Couldn't ask for better experience. Honesty, efficiency, and great customer service is what to expect. read more

We have used Marty Smith and his associates at CMS twice now. Both times have been excellent, with Marty's problem solving skills helping us to get the loan we needed. His team is also excellent. Highly recommend. Also, he donates a percentage to Young and Brave non-profit which is wonderful. read more

Capital Mortgage Services was the reason why my fiancé are officially moving into our dream home this week. Not only did they go above and beyond for us but they were also willing to take on a VA loan when plenty of mortgage companies would not even look our way. I would also like to give a huge shoutout to Jerry Avila for working closely with us throughout the huge process. Not only did Jerry answer all our questions, and we had plenty, but he also took the time to explain everything in detail when we did understand. Thank you Jerry for your help. It was a great experience working with Larry Reyes from Capital Mortgage Services. Since day one I met with him, he explained everything step by step. He clearly explained all cost and down payment that I will need. He stated there will be no surprise with the closing cost; sure there was no surprise on the closing cost at the end of the transaction. He was very flexible with his schedule to meet with me after hours and weekend. He responded to my e-mails and phone calls in a timely manner. Overall he was a great help and did his work in such way that I would recommend him to all my friends. Thank you Larry for helping us to make our dream become true! read more
