Before going I sent an email asking about the store hours. The email address is on their web site…read more We came home with raw Ground Bison, Rib Eye steaks and Chuck Eye plus cooked pulled bison B-B-Q. The raw cuts are hard to find in supermarkets. (The only product I find in our supermarkets is ground bison.) All the meat was frozen. Take a cooler like we did. When we neared the house we were silently greeted by a large size black, friendly dog that walked beside the car to the store. He wagged his tail but did not jump up on us or bark. Shirley came out of the house to open the store. Shirley will give you cooking & buying tips. Take cash or a check. They DO NOT ACCEPT CHARGE CARDS. I told her I was going to do a Yelp review and her response was, "What's that?" The BBQ has a tangy vinegar based sauce; perfecto! Now I know why it is a best seller. We should have followed Shirley's advise and bought more than 1 container. Next time 5-6 since we are so far away. The rib eye steak is also delicious, favorable and tender. We spent about $120. Shooting for at least $200 of meat next trip. For fresh bison meats and products give them a try. Use a GPS to find the place. They also sell their products at the seasonal Easton Farmers Market. Support MD farmers and "Go-Green" too by buying bison closer to home. Bison is lower in fat and healthier than beef. While in ND, we had a bison steak and want to have some more. That is the real reason we went out of our way to buy local grown bison.
