The 2 times I've been here I've had to wait 15 mins pass my appointment time. After physican assistant takes measure's my weight, height, and temperature. I waited another 15 minutes for the doc. Total time with doc was less than 5 minutes since my survey I wrote when I was with the PA had no issues. I don't have any chronic ailments yet so I consider my lucky so far. I probably do check in too much at restaurants. Too much waiting but it's only for once a year so far.

I have only great things to say about the front desk and its doctors and P.A.'s, and phlebotomist. My experience at High Mountain Health on Parish Dr. has been very pleasant. The only reason I give it 4 stars is cause you do have to wait to be seen but come on people, what doctors office on this planet do you NOT HAVE a wait. But let me just say these doctors and P.A.s spend time with you. They play close attention to your condition and make sure to follow up, either they follow up or have their M.A. call to follow up with you. If for any reason they can't accommodate you they do refer you to their office on Hamburg Turnpike which does provide great service as well. I love this place and DO NOT PLAN on switching doctors. I can understand this office has changed staff members and doctors at some point through out the years, so understandably NOT everyone will be thrilled with their visit or have had a positive experience in the past but if you have nothing NICE to say then keep it moving people. I have to admit, I was curious but I had some health concerns I needed to address and I needed to see a doctor. I made the appointment and was looking forward to see if I will have a great experience as her other patients (or the opposite). Erin, her admin/nurse was welcoming as soon as I walked in. She was upfront with regard to how much my insurance will cover. My insurance will only cover a portion of the visit as Dr. Badawy is in the network but a different tier per the plan I chose. I was already thinking that I would have to find another doctor. I met with Dr. Badawy, who was not only welcoming, she listened to every one of my concerns. She was not dismissive, but very compassionate and understanding. She came up with a care plan and lab tests to address my concerns. My visit exceeded my expectations. I highly highly recommend Dr. Badawy. Even though my insurance does not cover the cost of having her as my doctor, I will remain her patient. I am so happy to have found her. Thank you Dr. Badawy!

They checked me in and then had me sit for 20 minutes before telling me that because I was late they were going to take two patients before me and they couldn't see me for an hour. It'd be one thing if they told me when I checked in, but making me wait just to tell me that they couldn't see me until an hour after my appointment time is infuriating especially since I have NEVER gone and been seen right away. If prioritizing patients is important to you, I would find a different office.

I also need my diabetes medication refilled. The person I was speaking to in the phone informed me that I needed a physical to get the prescription filled. I said I understand hence my call to schedule the visit. I was told my physician is still out so I opted for another male physician. I was told he was scheduled out to November and I would need to see a different physician or a nurse practitioner who are female. I was not comfortable with this and was abruptly told that was it. No refill of my critical prescription unless I scheduled with the person or their choice, not mine. In what world does a doctors office dictate the physician you have to see vs. the one you want. One you know and knows your personal history. Now I have to find a new doctor after being a patient for the past 20 years. The person I was speaking to is named Pam. Then on the floor a couple days later getting discharged at 11:30am but nurse went on lunch in hallway chatting and laughing with other nurses after I asked 3 times about his discharge papers and still sitting waiting after 3 HOURS. How unprofessional, lazy and don't care about patience because socializing is more important. Now after 3 hrs of waiting to be discharged they sent prescriptions to a pharmacy an hour in a half away from our home because they never asked us pharmacy preference information. Hospital should hold their paychecks too. NEVER will come to this hospital again. Now have yo go to a real hospital to get real answers and have insurance pay again. THIS HOSPITAL IS BELOW STANDARDS AND UNPROFESSIONAL. STAY CLEAR!!!
