Last summer I got a plant at ocean state job lot that lasted May - Nov and this year I got one at Star market which looks great so far so I don't think it's my gardening skills. Not only do their plants die but they are not very nice and when I asked questions they didn't know the answers & acted bothered. I would think if you worked at a garden center and only sold plants you would know about plants. Overall an unpleasant experience and I'm really disappointed that the plants don't last. The plants are always high quality and they have such a great selection, but it can be pricey compared to other nurseries in the area. During the Spring and Summer they have a sprawling selection of plants, trees, and shrubs, I could (and have) spent hours browsing through them all. The staff is always really nice and you get the vibe that they're genuinely interested in your project and happy to give recommendations. In addition to the actual plants, they have landscaping services, lots of gardening supplies, and even decorative items and gifts. I haven't participated in anything just yet, but they even host all kinds of events and classes throughout the year. Overall, I'm super happy to have such a fun community spot nearby. They only lost a star for me because of the high prices, but as long as the plants keep doing so well I'll keep coming back anyways :)
