An informal dive club is organised via Facebook to arrange the various Dives, Courses and Holidays. It is run by John Webster who is very down to earth and teaches in a way that makes you relaxed with lots of fun and humour throughout. Nothing is too much hassle. One area where Phoenix Divers shine is Johns ability to work around you and your commitments/schedule be it work or family and is very flexible. I am about to start the EFR and Rescue Course very shortly which has been arranged around me due to me working away offshore. In the future I hope to achieve Padi Dive Master Certification which will be with John and Phoenix Divers. All in all, well recommended for Dive training and to further your dive goals and ambitions and to make new diving friends.

Run by its teaching staff,…read morecurrently a PADI 5 star dive centre, has a very active diveclub associated with it with dives most weekends and at least one trip a month. The shop stocks a range of kit from suppliers like Mares, Cressi, Tusa, and Beaver. Although its opening hours are fairly short you can reach them on the phone 9-5 7 days a week, and often times can be reached out of hours too. Club members can get cylinders filled for free though it is recommended that you bring them at least 30 mins before closing to ensure they get done as there are often ques for the compressor. Training is conducted onsite, at a local swimming pool and at a quarry north of Lancaster with at least one course starting a month, more if there are enough students to warrent it.
