An underwater thème park for divers.
Onsite training, shop, gas fills (including Tri-Mix) and cafe with a barbecue at weekends.
Used to be a regular visitor when I lived in the area, did a lot of my training here. Not the biggest diving centre in the UK but has plenty to see and is very well set up and run.
As you can see from my profile picture I enjoy my diving and have on my travels come across the good, the bad and the downright dangerous; this place is firmly in the first category. Their standards are second to none and the service hard to better. Their courses are a little more expensive than other PADI centres, but those centres can't offer the flexibility and convenience of ONE-TO-ONE teaching and a 20m deep training area with guaranteed conditions right next to the classroom!
The underwater attractions include a diving bell, a family of sturgeon and an ENTIRE JET LINER!
There are four changing rooms with showers (2 male, 2 female) and Breath-Easy Servicing on-site.
In all honesty it is a quarry with some things to look at and it isn't as big or deep as some other sites, but it is one of the few places in the world you can pretty much guarantee a dive, decent vis, a gas fill and a hot bacon sarnie on a rainy, windy weekend afternoon! read more
