The staff are cheerful and helpful, the food is great, there's all sorts of gear available if you forget or break something. The first night I used the delightful hammock grove and was in chatting distance of my friends in their tents. The next night we backpacked to the river bottom for 3 nights. After one night we froze and hightailed it back out the next morning. We were exceedingly grateful for the next few nights in a cozy platform hut at JB! We were 3 girlfriends and nobody wanted to share a bed, so I got the very comfortable double bed, one got the futon and the third says she was perfectly cozy with her pad and sleeping bag on the kitchenette floor. There's a mini fridge, window AC and a space heater, which is really all we needed. Everything in the facility is sparkling clean and well maintained, our cabin, the luxury bathhouse, the campground and hammock grove, everything was just delightful. The wifi was great in and around the bath house, the hammock grove and campsites, but not in the huts. There was absolutely no signal with Verizon, ATT or TMobile, which were all represented in our little group. Our only regret is we were too tired to take advantage of the really cool firepits!

We had a great experience with Float Eureka. They ran on time and gave us plenty of useful…read moreinstructions and information. Their business info states to come early for check-in so you can purchase sundries and snacks. Well there were things like chums, there were no snacks nor beverages for purchase. With the heat one would think it wise to offer water to your customers. On our trip the shuttle driver told us where to meet him for the shuttle pickup and about how much time it would take us to get there. There were 12 of us on the van and 10 of us were able to get to the place within 10 minutes arrival of each other. The last couple did not. We waited another 30 minutes in the heat for them to arrive. Although you cannot control for self absorbed people, it might be a good idea to give some instructions on keeping up in the group so that you are not holding everyone up waiting for you (think pace of play or pace of float). I would still recommend Float Eureka as they provided a great experience overall.
