I have waited to post a review for some time now after our last appointment at cape cod pediatrics in order to really reflect on our experience. We took our daughter for her most recent infant wellness visit and we had decided to post pone vaccinations at this time because we feel there is a lack of transparency and discussion around vaccine safety data. The provider during this visit introduced herself and immediately began discussions on vaccination. she barely looked at our child's chart to discuss her other medical history or medication she was on. She was unfamiliar with her medication and the treatment plan that had been established by a specialist doctor from Boston. She did a minimal physical assessment on our daughter and two nurses struggled to get an accurate set of vital signs. The entire visit was consumed by a lengthy lecture on how we "must trust the science". The provider then told us that we would be getting the same vaccines that our parents and grandparents had been getting. When my partner pointed out that was false, vaccines strains and combination shots are changing rapidly, the provider admitted that she was unfamiliar with what was actually in the vaccines. the provider stated she relied heavily on the governmental agencies responsible for our health policies. I reminded the provider that there was also legislation passed in 1986 protecting vaccine manufacturers from liability for vaccine injuries. What I didn't tell the provider was that I too am a healthcare worker with a MSN degree and over ten years experience working in healthcare. I was also a first responder in New York during the COVID epidemic and saw first hand our nation's experience with mandatory vaccinations that proved incredibly harmful and very ineffective. I value science and I am so grateful to be an American citizen with access to some of the best health care in the world. But health care is not strictly vaccinations. There is so many other factors that create a healthy person. And this pediatric practice would do well to focus not just on pushing vaccinations, but allowing open and honest discussions with families about their personal needs. our time would have been so much better spent talking about nutrition, movement, normal physiological and psychological milestones to be aware of. Instead we got asked to leave the practice. and while at first it I felt mortified and scared, I now feel quite empowered as a parent to move on. it's important for your healthcare provider to make your family feel safe and supported. read more

We have been going there for over 5 years and all the medical staff is wonderful. Unfortunately the people working the reception are very unfriendly and lack basic customer service skills. We just switched our insurance and we confirmed that the insurance says we're active on their system but CCP claims their computer system doesn't show that and wouldn't call the insurance to verify. read more

We have used this office for both of my children since their births. From the first infant visits in the maternity ward to my older's pre teen appointments, we have always been treated with thorough care and respect. I never have to wonder if they will be seen in a timely manner when they are sick or injured, there is always an apointment with a short (if any) wait. My favorite person is one of the nurses (I believe her name is Debbie or Donna), she works the "immediate nurse advice" extension and is always so reassuring, kind, and thorough. She is truly a gem for the office and gives the personal touch via phone, as well as well-thought out answers and advice. I would never guess that she deals with hundreds of children, because she always makes me feel as if mine are the only one being cared for by the office. Each nurse and doctor always make us feel safe and at home. I wouldn't leave this office unless I moved very far away, I'm so happy I never have to worry about the quality of my children's medical care. read more

Abusive and fraudulent billing practices and charges. I've tried nicely to correct this problem over the last 6 months to no avail. I have already notified my insurance company and will be calling the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association, the Federation of State Medical Boards, as well as the State Medical Boards and looking into getting a billing advocate. If they're doing this to one person they are doing this to others. read more

Not a fan. This is mostly info for NEW patients. I was told to come here because the location was nearby and the office was nice and clean. HOWEVER when I called to make an appointment, they turned me away because they said "they wouldn't see me until the forms were completed and my insurance was approved." As I looked through the ten pages of forms, I was thoroughly confused. I then explained that we had just moved and that my daughter was developing an ear affection and needed to be seen to which they said, "take her to urgent care." I was fuming. I have have moved 5 times and seen six different doctors all over the country and NEVER have I encountered such ridiculousness. I walked outside of their office called another pediatrician further down the way and made an appointment for the next day and they saw her ( and treated her) with no problems. I absolutely LOVE CCP. Clean, helpful, and very knowledgeable and refer out when appropriate to the top of the line MDs. My children love going to their appointments. We have had to work with billing/insurance issues and there has only been helpful conversations and plans put into place. Reception for the most part is amazing but you try answering the calls of worried parents and having people stand in front of you, its a very difficult job. I would not change where we go for the world and I have 3 kids in this practice. read more

I would've recommended this place to anyone and everyone who would've asked me, but after today I'm out for blood, I have been with them my entire life and in school the last two years, which my doctor was made aware of and he confirmed I could stay at the practice and didn't specify any other condition. Today I go in to get my infected ear treated and they threw me out of the building because I haven't had my physical with them in the two years i was gone, which no one told me of at all. They refused to work with me at all, someone whose been a loyal patient my whole life and was still an active member of the practice, and they wouldn't even think about the possibility of seeing me. Absolutely disgusting treatment of people. read more

My children were cared for by Heard, Hooshmand & Kayton from the day they were born. I trusted them with my children. They were kind, patient, they remembered my children every visit and I just adored those doctors. We moved in 2014 and haven't found doctors like them ANYWHERE. Their office is CLEAN compared to anything we have now. Their process for getting patients in and out in a timely manner and their availability to see my kids same day has always been great. They felt like a part of our family and a safe place to always get help. Thanks for everything Cape Cod Pediatrics! We miss you! read more

Great pediatric office, I take all 3 of my children here and have been happy with the care. They are very friendly and are very easy to reach. If I ever need to talk to a nurse I call them up and are always immediately put with one. read more

My son has been going to Cape Cod Pediatrics for the last 10 years. I can't say enough good things about this place. It is a new, clean, beautifully decorated office. Making appointments is easy and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting area which is split to separate healthy patients from sick patients. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They are mothers and fathers themselves so they are not alarmists. They take appropriate cautions and explain things in terms that my son and I can understand. I feel so fortunate to have found Cape Cod Pediatrics! I highly recommend them. read more
