After rocking a pony tail for a few years I was ready for a change, personally I am tired of the "clip joints" and wanted to go somewhere that made me feel like the barbershops I used to frequent growing up. The ladies at Cape Barber Shop have the perfect vibe, laid back, with an old school approach, friendly and funny. I told Cheryl have at it, just leave it in the long side and she did a great job. Two months later I stopped in again for a trim and it was like I had been in there yesterday. Gents you are missing a great thing if you haven't stopped in an given them a try. Hey, its only hair and if you are not happy it grows back pretty quickly. I'll definitely be back. read more

Sheryl is the best! Great haircut and reasonably priced! I go to her every time I'm in Cape Coral!

Wait time was a reasonable 20 minutes. when asked how I'd like my hair cut, I said "i like it left a bit long, middle of the ear, and collar-length in back." That's not what I got. Top of the ears, and very short in the back. I'll never go back there again. Extremely disappointed....... read more

Back again for my annual haircut at Cape Barber Shop. Thanks again Cheryl for another great haircut. See you again next year.

I started coming here shortly after I relocated to Cape. I tried two or three others before landing at this shop. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They offer a full range of styling services available for everyone. Waiting area is very comfortable and accommodating with magazines, TV restroom etc. also a "bulletin board" supporting business cards from other small businesses in the area. read more

Okay location, good customer service, so so hair cut. Even with a picture and verbally asking for a fade, it was not delivered had to tell her at the end to go back and fade the sides. It was like the lady just wanted to do whatever she was and wanted to do. Wouldn't recommend and won't be going back. read more

I have been a customer with Cape Barber Shop for over five years. The reason is they treat you like family. Customers talk to each other sharing stories, jokes and plenty of advice. Cheryl is the core feature with her never tiring sense of humor and attention to her customers. I always leave with a good feeling and smile on my face - oh and a great haircut. Fast courteous service at very reasonable prices. read more

I went here because my regular barber had their parking lot taped off I am unable to walk the distance I would've had to. I called, explained my dilemma to, Cheryl, she said to come on in & she'd take care of me. Really? Ok. Drove over, she did a great job, love the hominess of the place. It didn't matter to her that I might be a one time customer. She cares about people. Yes, I've been back & had,Cheryl, cut my hair since the first time. I'm surprised they aren't busier than what they are but, you get in & out in a relaxed atmosphere. Yes, I believe I found a new Barber. read more

After a political discussion I decided to leave the shop as I was told I'm not allowed to voice my opposite political opinion because I am not a born American. I should go back to Europe. Well that went too far and while leaving the older lady called me bad names and got mad at me. And I am not the first one experiencing this when you see older reviews. Uhm, last time I spent my money in her business.... read more

This barber shop is a straight up good place to come for a good cut. After the first time or two they remember better than you will what you like. Comfortable seats and plenty of good magazines. 3 great looking ladies so the wait won't be long at all. All they need is a new roof, and that's the owners fault not there's. So if your in the cape looking for a clean up this is your spot. read more

Second time getting a haircut and beard trim and i love it. Great environment great job great prices

Old school barber shop and the two ladies working there are a hoot. The cut was great and they even trimmed up my quasi-beard at the time for free. Other than the haircut, the thing that stood out the most to me was the fantastic fragrance of the shop. I know it is a bit odd to say that about a barber shop but it really is amazingly delightful. The decor is also just out of an old school barber shop from a classic movie. If you want a classic barber shop experience or just a good ole haircut, check this place out. read more

If you're looking to break away from those overpriced, fantastic great sports places, and want to Keep It In The Cape then this is your new barber shop. I'm not a fan of fancy hair salons when all I need is a quick cut. For $11 I got a haircut by a kind, skilled professional who is tops in her trade. She cut my hair with care, maybe as good as she would cut her own son's hair. I got an old-fashioned straight edge shave on the back and sides (do you think the proprietors of Fantastic Sams would trust their staff with a straight edge?) If you always wanted to take it easy in a local barber shop where not only the barbers know your name but so do the patrons (at least that's how I saw it), go to http://www.capebarbershop.com. read more

I brought my 11 year old son to cape Barbara shop today. After waiting for 25 minutes the Barber came over to us and said "I don't cut kids hair" of course I thought he was kidding and I laughed and told my son to hop in the chair He was not kidding and refused to cut his hair. Discrimination!!!! I wouldn't waste my time if I were you! read more

This is a fantastic barber shop. They always do a nice job and are reasonably priced. Most of all they are wonderful with my kids and are genuinely nice people. I only go here and recommend that you do too :) read more

We are here in CC for 2 months got my hair cut here twice last year and it was fine. This year I asked for a #3 blade cut all over, does not get any simpler than that. the brunette lady butchered me. One side was a #3 and then she burred the other side to like a #1. Asked her to trim my eyebrows, and she practically burred off them as well. I was reading a magazine and was not paying attention - my big mistake. It she cuts YOUR hair you better be watching or she'll butcher YOU too. I am so disappointed with her. read more

This is the place. Great haircut, pleasant conversation, barber shop atmosphere. I was visiting Cape Coral, checked Yelp, made my selection. Thank you to all the previous reviewers. read more

Being new to Cape Coral in need of a hair cut, I had my hair cut back home in Ct 3 months ago for the first time after going to expensive salons to giving a try at a barber shop in Clinton, Ct. All this time I would have preferred just a cut, nothing else that has cost me $$$. That barber gave me the best cut ever. I like washing and blowing out my hair, I have to say my hair is short. I browsed the internet wanting to stay in Cape Coral area. Just decided to give the shop a try. First and most important I loved my cut. Worried at first seeing that it has been 3 months, Cheryl not sure I spelled her name correct, was very friendly, fun to listen to while I had to wait shop is old fashioned and fun to look around. I was warned that when the season really starts the wait can be long. While I waited customers just coming in, most of them were called by name and the 2 women barbers had fun comments with them. read more
