Highly recommend! Found this salon on Yelp a few days ago. I came in yesterday to get my hair styled in curls before a night out with my boyfriend's family for a reunion. The interior is very neat and organized, the have a very comfy seating area in the center of the salon where you can watch as other ladies get their hair done beautifully. Artwork on the walls are lovely, and to me, befittingly exudes the essence of female confidence, especially when she feels her best! Canvases and paper prints that decorate the walls is a hint of how this establishment is a supporter of the arts. (Check out their sip and paint events!) Upon entering I signed in to the wait list. This place seems quite popular, especially on a weekend. There was a steady stream of patrons coming in the door. Yelper tip: They take appointments in case you want to secure a specific time to come in. On the hair review! My hair was done my McKenzie. I have very long and thick hair and I find it hard to curl my hair evenly with a flat iron- especially in the back. McKenzie did a great job, I got compliments all night, and what's more, the curls held up until the next day :) They ensure the use of heat protectant in this salon, so no worries on your tresses. My stylist was very gentle while she combed out and sectioned my hair... after giving me beautiful curls, I was up and ready on time to get ahead of my procrastination! Thanks to capable, I was able to get my makeup done and pick up my dress with time to spare for the evening. Their loyalty program and talent make this one of the best valued salon services I've had in a long time. Results of great hair and rewards of continued maintenance can't be beat. I was in town for the week of Thanksgiving and needed to get my hair done. I was contemplating getting my weave again so I asked some friends where to go and I got the recommendation to come here and ask for Celeste. I text her and told her what I wanted and she fit me right in that week. Celeste was so nice, very professional and the shop was very nice as well. She answered all my questions and gave me great recommendations for my hair. I must say ... This was the best full sew in I have ever had!!! She got me in and out in 2 hours and I love it. I'm seriously trying to arrange a drive from Baltimore when it's time to get it done again. I definitely recommend the salon and Celeste for sure! read more
