Every time I would go it's like I needed a whole mouth reconstruction for thousands of dollars, even with insurance somehow........but not here. I came in the first time with my spouse wanting a second opinion from another dentist in town (dental trails) that said an $1800 periodontal cleaning was needed, which we just didn't feel was accurate. We came here for a second opinion and guess what? Dr. Smith said all that was needed was a though cleaning. We were ready to spend almost $2000 and asked if he was sure and he said he was. I've gone a few times since then and each time his style of dentistry is clear......he tells you what you need done in the most affordable way possible! Because of this, he's got my family's business and I tell everyone about him. And while I haven't really touched on anyone else at the office, everyone I have interacted with from the front desk to the dental hygienists have been nothing but polite and friendly!

My hygienist was excellent, not only with my cleanings but had a great personality to boot. The front office staff was also very courteous and competent. Unfortunately since Dr. Proctor and Dr. Pina retired and new mgt took over it's not the same place. I gave it a year and with the last debacle with my mother's appt, we're both leaving. The front office staff is beyond incompetent, and rude and all they care about is adding as many charges to your visit as possible. I have insurance that pays but it's the principal. Their prices are also outrageous now. My mother had 3 teeth pulled, took about 30 minutes, that with xrays $933. She had insurance but the front office neglected to update her new insurance card after I gave it to them prior to her appt. Was told what she had done wasn't covered so I ended up charging it on her credit card. Called UHC the following morning and was told that the services she rcvd were in fact covered so then I had to call the office back. Claudia, who I spoke with was beyond unprofessional. Had the audacity to get defensive and testy with me because of their incompetence. They ultimately submitted the claim and it was paid; very quickly I might add (less than 2 weeks). Of course it took them a week and 2 inquiries to get my mom's card credited. No longer a happy patient.
