They are pretty much all sad just by the nature of what they are and who is housed there. When one does go to visit, one looks for things like cleanliness and what not, but mostly to see that those living in the facility are being treated with the dignity and respect due to a human being who has weathered the storm of Life long enough to find themselves at a resting point where this rest is only possible with the assistance of others. I found this place to be a place where this dignity and kindness it quite present. Granted it was my first time here, I noticed what I tend to see lacking in many other homes of this nature and that is respect. I will admit that it does look slightly dated, but not enough to raise a fuss over, and given the age of most of the patients there, it probably looks relatively modern lol. Understand that it takes a special type of person to work in these places.. The clients here (and in many other facilities across the nation) are fragile, hanging by a thread and off times not still in possession of the same energy or mind that propelled them this far into their existence which often leads to some very dramatic and potentially chaotic situations. I was amazed by the staff here. I am 40 and never stopped to notice the finesse and professionalism that it takes for the nurses and caretakers to do who they do, what many of us wish we provide but usually cannot for a multitude of reasons namely lack of training and logistics. I am very grateful to know that my relative is in the hands of good people who want to help. At one point before we left, my relative was in need of being moved and another orderly was needed. No one could be found and I asked one of the young men there who had already clocked out and finished with his work, backpack on and heading out the door if he could assist and he didn't bat an eyelash as he set his pack down and helped and assisted... for the next 45min. That moved me. He didn't have to help. He could've pointed at the desk and said "they can help you", but he didn't, and that speaks more than I can put into words.

I've lost track of the number of times I've been to this place - back issues, knee replacements…read more(right and left), and a third knee surgery to correct problems from one of the replacements. There have been a few staffing changes over the years, but the quality of care has been consistent. The office staff are friendly and efficient. Treatment plans are appropriately individualized, but one thing they all seem to have in common is that with every visit you'll work to the limit of your ability. The camaraderie among the therapists and the way they involve patients in stories and laughter makes each session something to look forward to. I highly recommend!

Two friendly front office staff took good care of me in helping me fill out the paperwork and get me ready to begin my journey to healing. They were also easy to work with in helping find appointments that me my schedule. The facility and equipment are clean. The therapists I found to be friendly, caring and highly knowledgeable. What makes PT Solutions different is that they went above and beyond to make me feel at ease and give me extra attention and patience when I was having bad days. Every member of the staff I encountered treated me with kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern. My room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The Environmental Services staff did an outstanding job keeping everything spotless. On the first morning of my stay, my wife immediately commented on how clean the room looked--something she had never said during any previous hospital stay. The staff thoroughly cleaned and dusted the room, mopped the floor, and even changed the trash bag even though it was barely full. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I also noticed a small device under the sink that I later learned was a Synexis air purification system. It operates so quietly that I never heard it, but I was impressed to learn that it continuously helps improve air and surface quality by generating a safe form of hydrogen peroxide. It was reassuring to see Northside Hospital Cherokee investing in technology that helps protect patients from the spread of germs. The food service exceeded my expectations. There was a wide variety of menu choices, the meals arrived on schedule, the portions were generous, the food was served at the proper temperature, and every meal was exactly what I ordered. Hospital food often gets a bad reputation, but that certainly wasn't my experience here. My discharge process was one of the smoothest I've ever experienced. Nurse Brenda made sure my wife and I had everything packed so nothing was left behind. She asked my wife to bring the car around to the entrance, and within just a couple of minutes I was on my way home. The entire process was efficient, organized, and stress-free. The highlight of my stay, however, was the nursing staff. Their compassion, professionalism, and positive attitudes made all the difference. Brenda and Elizabeth cared for me during the day, while Nancy and another night-shift nurse--whose name I unfortunately cannot remember--provided excellent care overnight. Every one of them treated me with respect and kindness, and they always seemed to have a smile on their face. They should be highly commended for their dedication to their patients. If I ever need hospital care again and have a choice, Northside Hospital Cherokee will be my first choice without hesitation. Thank you to everyone who made my stay such a positive experience. This is a huge hospital out in the mountains of North Georgia. I had…read more heard good things about it, so I felt comfortable checking in for my outpatient surgery. Staff was friendly at the check in counter, and I did not have to wait too long to get signed in. I had already spent 50 minutes on the phone for the preoperative interview. The preparation for my surgery didn't take too long either. The nursing staff was very friendly and professional. The Anestesia Doctor did his job, but he was not extremely personable. To him, I was just a number. However, my Doctor Karen Buhariwalla was amazing. She explained what would happen in the upcoming procedure, and made small talk to make me feel confident, and relaxed. After the surgery the dismissal process was easy. Noone wants to have anything to do with a hospital, but if I ever have to, I would chose this one.
