We've been a few times and the space is always clean and quiet. There are a few trashcans around, so I recommend bringing an extra bag to tie up trash in since trash cans are few. There's a small lot designated for the park and free on-street parking. The tot lot has a playground and swings. Nothing fancy, but serves its purpose. I haven't seen this area overly crowded. Good option to not fight crowds and a range of age groups. There are no restrooms.

It is a nice slick floor, the best floor for busting out dance moves. We were shake n baking. They accept credit cards for the rink and serve pizza, snacks, hot dogs, fries, and other food. Surprisingly, there were a lot of good skaters, better than the average that I have seen, which made it more fun!!! I will definitely be back for the Sunday adult night! Btw the DJ was one of the best hip hop DJs I have experienced at a roller rink ever and I have been to several rinks across the country. We parked on the street right out front and there was no problem. Nice family and kids all around.

Being at Clifton Park brings back lots of great childhood memories. I used to play here a lot as a…read morekid. The playground has so much space to play. It's also nice because there is a golf course and tennis courts as well. My dad used to play tennis here all the time. I think one for the best parts is the part of the park with the stage. Many festivals and events are held here such as the Baltimore National Pan-Hellenic Council Greek Picnic and the Baltimore Washington One Caribbean Carnival. I was recently at Baltimore Carnival and I enjoyed the fact there was so much space and I didn't feel overwhelmed by the crowd. Definitely a great park for all.

It is bordered by Coldstream, Belair Edison, Mayfield, Darley Park on the south and is basically across the street and down the hill from Lake Montebello in the North. This last part is important. With a little thought they could connect Lake Montebello, Herring Run and Clifton park quite easily in a greenway, hiking, running trail that would bring life to all three parks...come on...doooooo it! Clifton holds a golf course, Clifton Mansion which is the home of Civic Works (a NP that runs a charter school in the park and a big urban farm in the park). It's a historic home being restored that has a tower with an amazing view of the city. Call and ask for a tour. Johns Hopkins lived there. There are soccer fields, baseball and softball fields, and some roads that run across it to other neighborhoods. You can park and use it. Last the garden in the North is lovely and well kept, the amazing pump house architecture is a relic, gorgeous, and falling apart.

My nieces and nephews went from one area of the playground to the other area in search of what they liked. We tried many of the pieces of the playground. There is a lot of space on the playground for the kids so that it doesn't seem crowded. Each items seemed safe. There is a picnic area for families to bring and eat a meal. I wish there were more covered spaces for parents to sit and watch their kids. The bathrooms onsite were clean and safe.

They have two parks designated for large dogs and one park for smaller dogs. I only went to the small dog area. They have clean grassy fields. There was no dog poop laying around. They also have trash cans and dog poop bags for public use. There is also a water fountain and water bowl for dogs, which has also been kept clean. There's plenty of parking in the surrounding area. The dogs in the larger dog area also seemed pretty friendly.

You can tell this space was and continues to be cared for. It's a great space for festivals, with lots of room for vendors to set up, as well as a large playground for kids. Recommend passing through on a nice day or visiting during an event.

Yet another example of a nice hidden oasis in the city. This park was endowed by a citizen on his…read morepassing and is therefore open to the public all year round. There is a huge covered pavilion. It doesn't have its own picnic tables but it does have a lot of space. There is a full jungle gym with two slides and climbing area, a swing set (with toddler and big kid swings), and a separate climbing area. All of these areas have the recycled tire rubber mulch. The whole park area is large and fully-fenced. Unfortunately there is only rubber mulch in the playground equipment areas and the rest is cement, causing a few boo boos with running toddlers. Our only other issue with this park is that there is a baby pool that is no longer filled with water. While it can be fun to kick a ball around inside, it can also be a fall hazard with the littles. Overall though it's a really nice park with good security and not too close to any busy streets. Definitely worth stopping by to make new friends.

It is not a playground where you can park and eat a lunch and let your child play at their leisure. But, if your child really wants to play and you live on the city side of the Inner Harbor, this is a good option.
