This is one of my fave Public libraries in the area! They're spacious! I love their chairs by the fireplace. They got quiet study rooms,as well. There's a park behind the library where you can take a walk. Lib staff are super helpful too.

Canton library is the one which has so many(most)story time. Some moms like to go Novi Plymouth for story time. But I think baby need read listen&repeat. So I donot want to waste time for their extra social life.

Nice place to study or read. There is wifi, and you do not need a password to access the internet.

This is a very nice library especially for a community/town of its size. It recently went through a…read morerenovation (although I'm not sure what it looked like prior as I hadn't moved to the area yet). The librarians are incredible helpful and kind. I had used the library previously as a place to work and just opened a library card; they were extremely accommodating and patient when it came to proof of address as they told me that personal mail was no longer accepted. I was able to get one with minimal issues and they also included a little welcome pamphlet with information about where everything is located etc. The building itself is clean and well-maintained. If I had one "complaint" it's that the study rooms are often occupied but I'm glad to see people utilizing the library - and there are plenty of them! It's in a great spot in DTP and also has ample parking. Also, they have free feminine products in the bathroom which I was (pleasantly) surprised to see. Highly recommend this library and will absolutely be back.

This is my neighborhood library and I love its cozy and quiet study areas. It's my favorite library…read moreto visit for reading and working. I can just find a table and not be disturbed for hours. It does get a bit louder when more kids show up after school hours for tutoring and hanging out in the teen section, but it's not too bothersome. There are a lot of library programs and events each month including games, crafts, and book clubs for kids and adults. The only suggestion I have is to open the library an hour earlier at 9:00 am instead of 10:00 am. Despite its smaller size, it has a lot more resources than larger libraries in the area.

Relaxing ambiance, plethora of resources offered making technology, books, videos, etc. accessible…read moreto patrons, professional and approachable staff. The Northville District Library is a place where I know I will find a workspace that is conducive for productivity or a cozy environment where I can stroll while looking for the latest read. Librarians were available if needed and one team member provided insight when I inquired about a particular resource. The books and movies within the Northville collection is quite vast which was exciting to explore. The check-out system is straight forward. A variety of seating options are available on all levels of the library where individuals or groups are likely to find a spot to gather. My favorite is the fireplace area! Parking lot is spacious and easy to navigate.

I often visit Northville District Library for a quiet place to read and do work. It's conveniently…read morelocated in downtown Northville and blocks away from restaurants and a walkable downtown district. The librarians are friendly, and the reading and studying spaces are clean and get lots of natural light. I like that there are study rooms for both large groups as well as for one person or two people that can be reserved for up to two hours. Other libraries only have study rooms for groups and have the right to kick out one person using the room. Northville Library is small compared to other cities, but it's inviting, quiet, and relaxing. I prefer it to other libraries in the area.
