Have been here a few times lately and not sure what expectations I should or should not have. I was getting free dash wipes for a long time then that stopped or I forgot to ask. Then I was getting a free water and a guy who offered to wipe my car down at no charge. Of course I tipped him well and left. This time no water no guy.... I've been to this drive through car wash several times and I've been satisfied each time. Their location is super convenient for me - so that's the main reason I choose them. Their prices are decent. A regular wash is $5.50 which is worth it to me since water is so expensive here in Canton and my time is valuable. Plus who wants to wash their own car by hand on a hot day. The employees have always been professional. I was even treated considerably after putting my car in park instead of neutral. Lol My car is cleaned to my satisfaction and it is almost all dry from the super power blowers. I love that they hand me a damp disposable cloth to clean my dash while I'm coasting through the wash. I will no longer give this business my money. I purchased a pre-paid car wash card for them to tell me their software crashed so they can't tell me what's on my card so it's not vaild anymore. They offered me nothing and I had to pay for my car wash because I was already in the front of the line. It's very interesting that there is no way for you to contact them through their website and when you call the phone number no one answers. The ironic thing is a new car wash is opening just across the street and guess who will be getting my money. Lately with the economy in Michigan on the rebound, finding people who want to work outside at a car wash during the winter months is not an easy task. Mostly the people who work there really don't care about whether your automobile becomes clean or not. Thankfully, the people that are hired at the Canton Auto Wash listen to you, and will clean your vehicle the way you want it. One thing I love about this place is that they offer a floor mat cleaning machine. Every winter I tend to track dirt and salt all over my floor mats. this machine really does the trick, and makes them look clean again. I wish other establishments would invest in equipment like this. I always recommend this place to my friends, and they agree that this is a great place to gave your car washed at. read more

I went in and canceled two weeks ago and was charged again this month. when I try calling it's difficult to get an answer then I was hung up on. will try again later but at this point will have to contact my back to see about stopping charges. Due to there "system" problems they told me I was "out of luck" and had to pay for the wash. when I ask for the manager, he told me he was the manager. That's retail theft!!!! I used this place often when I lived in Canton. I only use them now when I am in the area. They use to be ok. That is no longer the case. The last few times this place left a glaze on my windows. I visited here yesterday and 2 young kids were doing my car with long handled brushes and rather brute with the brushes I might add . I checked before I left and I notice that the rear emblem on my car was cracked along with the license plate pulled off on one side. This included a glaze on my windows. I was set to be at an appointment and called the car wash. I have not heard anything yet and I am still waiting for a return call. I will now have to replace the badge to the tune of $80. I would give this car wash a negative 5 if I could. But my experience seems to be similar to others after reading the reviews. Lots of yelling by employees and management and a lot of aggressiveness towards customers. I would steer clear of this car wash! It's just not worth it, especially if you have kids in the car. I just went to this car wash for the first time and as I pulled in I didn't see anyone taking money or an automated machine to pay so I continued to pull up to the entrance of the car wash. I began gesturing to the guy waving people forward and spraying the cars, trying to let him know I haven't paid yet and waving my credit card. He very aggressively continued to wave to me to move forward, wouldn't look me in the face at all, completely ignored me, and just screamed at me about 10 times to move forward. At the same time I'm waving my credit card telling him I just want to know where to pay, informing him that I haven't paid for the service yet. But he very purposely ignored me and kept screaming at me very aggressively with a lot of anger in his body language and his voice. and when I wouldn't move forward with my car he came and got in my face and screamed at me and at that point I felt I was being harassed. So I rolled up the window and put the car in neutral because he said forget it, would not clean my car as part of the manual part of the cleaning process, and made the rollers take my car forward. So while in the car wash I wrote a check out because I wouldn't want be accused of stealing a car wash even though he refused to do the initial rinsing and washing of my car. But when I got to the end of the car wash no one was there. So I called and I asked for the manager and they put him on the phone and once again he started screaming at me and did not have the ability to listen at all. So I had to hang up. When I called back and asked for the name and number of the owner they refused to give it to me. It's shocking that this guy did not have the capacity to interact with a customer without being aggressive and harassing. He demonstrated absolutely zero listening skills. It seems like he was about to blow his stack and do something terrible and regrettable. He's definitely not someone you would want interacting with customers. This was a very unfortunate and horrible situation and of course I would never go back to that car wash again. I think management and owners need to do something about this guy if that's his normal way of interacting with customers. I actually feel quite sorry for the guy, he clearly needs help. read more

The car wash broke off my rear wiper arm cover. I went to talk to the owner Brett about the issue (I was calm and spoke very nice considering what happened). The Owner Brett was screaming at me to get off the driveway while I was in the car with 2 small children. My kids were crying scared because of the way he was speaking to me. I cannot believe a business owner would conduct this way with customers. I would have given no stars if I could. Horrible job with the cleaning of my car and even worse customer service. read more

We went here with my daughter and son in law when we came to this side of town. My son in law drove his car. After a quick observation it was clear that these people are rude and crabby. My son in law paid but then when we got to the front of the line they wanted to charge us again even though they wrote on the windshield what wash he wanted. The guy seemed quite upset when my son in law said he paid already. Then the other guys seemed like they had better things to be doing than guiding the cars along. It was quite a circus. A couple of the men need to pull up their jeans as it looked like they were about to fall down to their ankles. Poor customer service. Poor reflection of a business. This is my first Yelp review. It took a horrible experience from this car wash to compel me to write a review. The worker yelled at me to step on the gas without any direction in which way to turn the wheel trying to get into the wash. I asked if he could just tell me a direction. He didn't understand that his left/right is different than mine. After a long time maneuvering into the wash and my window was up he started yelling at me that I have an attitude. I guess he thinks I'm can't hear through the glass.... I have went through that wash several times with no problems but the guy with missing teeth was the rudest car wash worker ever! Don't go!!! They damaged my new 2021 truck twice!!! The first time I said well sometimes things just happen... I got it fixed... went back again and it tore the whole left side of my truck steps off!!! Then the guy tried to act like the company that made the truck is known for bad quality. Pretty much a regular automated car wash as you would find in a gas station, but in a standalone setting. I think you get a better wash here as there are a number of guys that presoak the car, brush down the exterior and apply cleaning solution to the wheels before you go through the automated part of the wash. This leads to a cleaner car in my opinion, and possibly less scratches due to the automated brushes & "rags" hitting the car after it is soaked twice (manually and then by the spray jets), so there should be less dirt on the paint to dig in. You get 3 or 4 types of washes to choose from, depending on the options. I got the basic recently and that was $5, so about a dollar more than a gas station auto wash, which I thought was worth it. They do accept credit cards (all types I think), so that is a bonus as I didn't have cash on hand. Plan to swing by again, especially while it is cold out and I can't wash at home using a hose. read more

I normally go to the car wash on Ford but wanted to try this place out. I'm really happy I did! I went on a cold day and it was nice to see that the car wash had garage doors on both ends that only opened for vehicles. Then, I saw a sign that said you get a free car wash if you see an employee smoking or on a phone. I really like a business that has that kind of ethic! The wash was very affordable ($5.50 for the bare bones wash, less than I normally pay for the cheapest option at my other place) and pretty thorough. The internal functions of the wash seem a lot more active than most car washes I've been through. I like that I wasn't charged extra for an SUV, either. My car looked nice after the wash - a few small spots missed but overall really good cleaning job. I definitely will be back. Check out SpongeBob on your way out, too! read more

I've been to this business many times, but today's visit was the last time. My car was encrusted in salt and, even though I knew that it wouldn't stay clean for long, I decided to treat it to a midwinter wash. The signs on Canton Auto Wash said "open" so I pulled around to the back entrance. The overhead door was closed, though, so after waiting for several minutes with no acknowledgement from anyone, and after seeing no one inside the doors, I began to think they were, in fact, closed. I beeped my horn, as I saw no hose across the drive that might let the employees know that a car was waiting. Nothing. A few moments later, I saw a blonde woman inside the door with a broom but she didn't look my way, so I beeped my horn again, thinking that maybe she hadn't seen or heard me. This got a response, but not the friendly "hello" I was hoping for. The blonde woman threw open the smaller person door and stomped out to my car, shouting, "What's wrong with you? I'm with a customer!" I tried to explain that it wasn't clear whether they were open but she didn't wait for my response, she turned on her heel and stomped back inside. I was so upset by this that I decided to leave, but there were 2 cars behind mine, so I had to get out of my car and ask them to back up to let me out of the line. As I was getting back into my car, a male employee partially opened the overhead door and yelled, "Are you backing up or are you coming in?" I said I was leaving because--and he interrupted me and yelled, "I said, are you backing up or coming in?" I said I was leaving because his coworker had yelled at me, and he responded several times, "No, she didn't!" He pointed out (loudly) that they have to keep the door closed because it's so cold outside, which I completely understand, but I would think that they could figure out how to let customers know that they are aware that you are waiting. This is the closest car wash to my home, and the least expensive, but I will not go there again. If you want to be treated badly when you get a car wash, this is the business for you. read more

ok they were okay first time around, previous yelpers mentioned all the negatives, like no towel guys, Ultimate (the most expensive) car wash $8 was expensive, and didn't clean out my rims. the money changer, gave me one less quarter, i didn't know if that was on purpose. for $8 there SHOULD be a towel guy, rims should be cleaned that's what the Ultimate was about. and the bugs were still on my bumpers from highway driving. I will never go here again. While I was waiting for the car in front of me to go, I was trying to find the button for my running boards so they could get cleaned. I look up 15 seconds later and the lady is screaming at me with a scowl on her face saying pull up. (Mind you no one is behind me either)Then she fails to guide me on the track so my tires weren't inline. Once I finally get up she's glaring at me. I roll my window down and tell the guy that she is very rude. He then proceeds to say well you didn't pull up when you were supposed to. I explain to him what he was doing and he proceeds to say the same thing. Then he fails to do the pre wash because he was pissed. Talk about terrible customer service. When you run a business where customers are a must, how about you know how to deal with people. If you want to deal with rude people this is the place to go. read more

I made a small trip to come here, based on what I had read on Yelp. I don't go offroading, and there hasn't been much salt on the roads, so I mostly wanted to keep what salt there was from eating my car. I have to admit, after getting my car washed, I'm a bit disappointed. They operate on the "Good, Better, Supreme, Ultimate" model between $5 and $8. The difference between $7 and $8 appears to be triple-wax versus regular wax, and a free air freshener. I figured I'd rather put the extra buck toward the tip, so I went for the $7 Supreme and left a $3 tip. The guy handed me a wet paper towel, and the two people there did a quick once-over with a wet brush, and sent me down the roller. The automatic wash seemed really quick, and in the minute or so it took, I came out with my car looking pretty disheveled between the mirrors and back wiper being in strange positions. I did a check around my car as I got the wiper and mirrors back in place, and saw many large areas that appeared almost untouched by soap or water. My wheels still had a fair amount of dirt (and since the car rolled off the line a month ago, it's not like years worth of brake dust needed to come off), and the windows are already getting spotty. I contemplated going back for a do-over, but figured I paid a few bucks to learn a lesson. Later in the day, my dashboard seemed to be dustier than before I took the towel to it, and was getting streaks. I don't know what they wet it with, but I'm going to have to clean it off now. Don't get me wrong. I don't expect a full exterior detail job for $10, and I don't expect two people to spend 10 minutes washing my car because I tipped them $1.50 each. However, I could have gone to any of the $3 car washes that were on my way home (Novi and Milford come to mind immediately) or any BP gas station with a fully-automatic wash, and got pretty much the same result for 70% less money. I might go back in the summer, If I'm on Michigan Avenue and I'm just looking to knock off road dust. Otherwise, I can't say I can justify going here over any of the $3 car washes. If you decide to pay a visit, you should know that they're located between the BP station and mini-storage on eastbound Michigan Ave, past Canton Center. The sign is fairly low to the ground, and the car wash itself is probably 400 feet from the road, so it may not be immediately obvious to you. Also, "AUTO WASH" is now multi-colored, instead of the solid yellow that's pictured. read more

It's funny I am writing a yelp review on this company because I remember right before I entered the building they had a sign that clearly stated if not satisfy please call manager and gave a phone number. I feel as if you have to have a sign that states if you're unsatisfied with the employees please call that should have raised a red flag but I was in need of a car wash so I went through it. once I exited out I realize the machines were very sloppy with applying the soap and also I had plenty of soapy residue still on my car that the sprayers did not spray off once I tried to call back the phone rung with no pick up. Then I tried to call again this time somebody finally picked up I tried to explain my issue I had an employee hung the phone up. The guy told me to come back up there but if I do he won't be happy. Went their on Saturday and the two wash attendants were laughing and goofing off. They then told me to pull my car in. They did a quick spray and told me to put it in neutral. My vehicle started to move toward the wash area, but nothing was moving inside. None of the cloths or brushes. I began to blow my horn and no one came to check on me. My 2002 Dodge Durango was forced between huge brushes that stood still and ripped my whole driver's side mirror off. I returned to the car entrance and complained to the employees that they did not turn the wash machinery on and my truck was forced between equipment that was standing still and now I have no mirror. They said the manager would call me and repair it. They took my name and number. No call as of yet. I called and asked for manager name and they would not tell me. My brother called and they said they could not give it over the phone. So my brother said he would come to the car wash to get it. When we came to the car wash, one the the employees said we were harassing him. He went back into the office and yelled that "He would slice us up". We left, and waited for the call from the manager. Instead of the manager calling us, the police came to my brother's house and said that the employees call them and complained that we threatened him with a gun. I am so hurt. Never have I experienced anything like this. I just wanted to talk to the manager because they did not properly turn on the car wash and my vehicle was damaged. There is enough crime in this world and no need for someone to get so mad and make false reports to the police. I probably will have to fix my own mirror and I will never do business there again. read more

Coming from getting JAX Car washes, it hard to have to dry your own vehicle. The $8 wash isn't bad, but the rinse cycle still leaves quite a bit of cleaning suds on your vehicle, heading into the dry blowers. Also I'm not a big fan of vacuum machines I have to feed quarters too, I feel it should be a complimentary perk (FREE). Overall I give it a 6 out of 10. read more

We were visiting family in Canton and after our long drive to get there, had bugs all over the front of the car. My husband found this place and didn't hesitate to pay the $10 to get the bugs off. When he exited the wash, he saw the driver's side mirror just hanging there. He talked to the workers and was told that sometimes the equipment damages the cars, but that company policy is that they don't replace mirrors if the car is older than 5 years and pointed out a sign that states that. They told us we needed to come back the next morning to speak to the manager if we needed more information. We got his name and came back, as instructed. I explained to the manager that mirror had been knocked off by his equipment and that we knew they had a sign saying they weren't responsible, but that we would need to file a claim with our car insurance company to get it fixed so we needed his insurance information. At that point, he began getting defensive and was very rude. He was walking away from me while talking, telling me that it didn't matter because he wasn't responsible and all I needed was the name of the place. When I again explained that we needed his info to file my claim he flippantly said he didn't have insurance - which I'm positive was a way to get rid of me. I was not at all confrontational or angry and I'm not sure why he felt defensive enough to be so rude. I walked away shocked that anyone would act that way. His equipment broke my car, it is not unreasonable to expect that he would be willing to discuss the situation with me like a grown up. The dealer quoted us $302 to fix the mirror, the very least this guy could have said was "sorry" or even offered to refund the $10 from the car wash. Expensive car wash for us at $312 and VERY rude manager. Not sure how you run a business that way and keep customers. read more

Very disappointed. Broke my passenger side mirror off my SUV before I even made it into the automated car wash. We pointed this out immediately as we heard and saw it break. They refused to fix it. I understand they are not responsible for damage during automated wash, but this occurred from their employees carelessness. This $10 car wash costed me an additional $50 in repairs.
