I bought a Philips CPAP machine from this busines in March 2020…read more Then in June 2021 I received this very unsettling e-mail : Philips Respironics Medical Device Recall On June 23, 2021 the Government of Canada issued a recall of Philips Respironics ("Philips") Continuous  Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), Bi-Level Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP), and Mechanical Ventilators manufactured before April 26, 2021, the details of which can be accessed at: https://healthycanadians.gc.ca/recall-alert-rappel-avis/hc-sc/2021/75889r-eng.php#reason-motif. This  action follows a decision taken by Philips and communicated on June 14, 2021 to issue a Medical Device  Recall. We have included the Philips Notice of Medical Device Recall with this communication which  includes a list of impacted devices. Philips has advised that the concern relates to the polyester-based polyurethane (PE-PUR) sound  abatement foam used in Philips Continuous and Non-Continuous Ventilators. The PE-PUR foam may  degrade into particles which may enter the device's air pathway and be ingested or inhaled by the user,  and the PE-PUR foam may off-gas certain chemicals. Philips has advised that the foam degradation may  be exacerbated by use of unapproved cleaning methods, such as ozone and off-gassing may occur  during initial operation and may possibly continue throughout the device's useful life. Philips has advised that all users of the affected CPAP and BiLevel PAP devices should discontinue the use of their device and consult with their physician to determine next steps. Philips has also advised  that patients using life-sustaining mechanical ventilators should not discontinue or alter therapy without  consulting physicians to determine appropriate next steps. Philips has set up a website (https://www.philipssrcupdate.expertinquiry.com/) where you can begin the  process of registering your current device. The website provides you current information on the status  of the recall and how to receive permanent corrective action to address the two (2) issues. The website  provides you instructions on how to locate your device Serial Number and will guide you through the  registration process. As well, you can call Philips at 1-877-907-7508 if you cannot visit the website or do  not have internet access. Philips has publicly communicated their commitment to taking permanent  corrective action which, at this point, we understand to be repair or replacement of impacted devices. We are providing you with the option of updating your contact information with us via https://resolutehealthcorp.com/REST. We are collecting this information from you for several purposes  including fulfilling any requests for products or service once a replacement machine is provided by  Philips or a repair is made to your existing device, keeping you up to date on developments with the  Philips recall or otherwise communicating with you. As always, your primary health care provider  should be consulted for specific health care concerns. I have not heard back from Philips or Clinical Sleep Solutions. I filled out the online registration form back in June. I understand this is an embarrassing situation for Clinical Sleep Solutions but I would like to know what is going on. Will they fix the CPAP machine or reimburse me the approximately $2500?

The staffs I've met so far had been professional and very helpful with my needs. After a few tastings, it turns out that I have a severe sleep apnea and is required to sleep with a CPAP machine, and recently after doing a sleep study at UBC hospital, this clinic had set up to a separate oxygen machine to the CPAP machine. At first, it was kind of alarming, but shortly after using it, the was actually really easy to use, seeing as the devices are very non evasive. The result so far is that I do actually feel a bit better physically, and my pulse/heart rate and blood pressure seems to be improving since I started using these machines back in the middle or end of April. I'm still going to be meeting with them for a while, but so far tho, I've been happy with the current results.
