    EXPERIENCE. This is…read morewhat this auto mechanic place is truly about. Dealerships , Car Mechanics are known to be scammers especially when you are a woman having your car checked out. I read reviews re: this place and based on the reviews locals referred people here for auto work . They mentioned alot on the customer service and that their pricing is similar to dealerships. I was on my way to the car share meet up spot this particular morning and my car started to give up - I had this check engine light icon on for a while but the honda dealership (WINTER HAVEN) checked it out sometime last year and it was temporarily off from the dash board but after paying $1k for them to "diagnose" the issue - the light went back on and I gave up. A few months ago my car started jerking at times when I accelerated. But this time the morning of when I was heading out - the car just gave up accelerating. Thank god I was still able to bring my car back to my driveway at 5 MPH. Called AAA and towed my car to Johnnys which they open at 730am. Upon arrival - I seen this location before passing through haines city - But never thought my experience here was 5 stars. When the tow driver was releasing my car - One of the staff asked me - We can give you an UBER to drop you home and pick you up when the car is ready. DEALERSHIPS NEVER OFFER FREE UBER TO THEIR CUSTOMERS not from my dealership! This UBER was out of JOHNNYS automotive EXPENSE! The place looks like a half barber shop and Fords Garage and Cracker Barrel feel. They had rocking chairs seating in the front along with tables, mini golf to play with for downtime while waiting for you car to be fixed etc. They were open slightly before 730 and was welcomed by 2 employees - The inside of this place was clean - smelled good - Very americana - they seem to be a big fan of the sheriff of polk county since you see a poster of him on the door in front of the massage chair area LOL - So u can tell they support locals from businesses/organizations and of course customers. They offer a massage chair which I used and abused LOL There times I caught myself snoring. They offer a section where you can charge your phone, Also a section where they offer array of drinks in a chiller (water and soda cans) - Fresh coffee (NON KEURIG) - Cookies, Pastries, Chips, Beef jerky amongst the snack options that were displayed. A roll of paper towel stand for any messes while snacking. The small details of this place was pretty awesome from the entrance door handle to the decor inside. So while they took in my car to see the issues - I sat in one of the cushioned chairs by the entrance windows - And I was falling asleep. One of the staff said to me - there is a massage chair in the back you can lay there and sleep if you want. At first I did not know how to take that - I thought he just did not want me sleeping in front of customers coming in etc - But I took his advice and the massage chair is located by the other exit door in the back. That area is close to the restroom as well. Be mindful you are facing Sheriff Grady Judd LOL The restroom is clean - And offered air spray / 2 types of soap for use. After waiting for diagnosis - One of the staff came to me and stated the concern. I agreed with the issue and was there from 730 and almost 12pm. I did not feel pressured with any additional sales etc and I felt that they were genuine about the issue which was weird. As I approached my car and sat in it - There was a lilac rose on my dashboard. - and the car had NO dashboard icon lights at all. God willing - its running like its a brand new car again. My car appreciated Johnnys automotive and the EXPERIENCE here is top notch,. Who gives women a rose after doing car business with them? Johnny automotive does. This is not about the rose LOL its about the EXPERIENCE dealing with JOHNNYS AUTOMOTIVE.

    Had an oil change at Valvoline and my car immediately developed a leak from the oil filter housing,…read morethe exact part they serviced. When I filed a complaint, the manager promised to fix it and clean my oil-stained driveway, but when I brought the car in he barely looked and blamed it on wear and tear from the oil pump. My independent mechanic confirmed the housing was cracked from overtightening, something that does not happen from normal use. Valvoline then claimed they reviewed video and said a torque wrench was used, denying responsibility, even though they were the only ones who touched my car since August. I ended up paying over $1,500 to fix what they broke. Completely incompetent service and terrible customer support. Avoid.

Went back to their store on Sunday so they could correct their wrong and they tell me that the leak isn't because of them that my housing unit is leaking. I told them there is no way that it just happened to start leaking on its own that they had to have something to do with it. They denied it even had me call the store manager who also decided to tell me there's no way that they caused the damage to my truck because their machine is set to the perfect torque. Also they have cameras and supposedly can see that everything was done correctly. Only 1 person at that store apologized for what had happened I wish I got his name but I do know it wasn't Yogi or the store manager. Monday January 8, 2024 I brought my truck to the Dodge dealership and they told me that my oil filter and oil cooler was leaking due to over tightening the oil filter! Therefore they are the ones who cracked my oil cooler! Do not ever go to this place to get an oil change or any work on your vehicle! They will not own up to their crappy work and you'll be out the money you spent just to have to bring it somewhere else to hopefully fix the damage they cause. The Goodyear representative by the name Angel immediately assisted, mounted and balanced the tire. What stood out most and caught my attention at this particular location were all the associates greeting me with genuine smiles, positive attitudes, and a healthy dose of customer appreciation. Maybe it was a perfect day for the shop and its staff, or perhaps they are always very kind and courteous? Regardless, it was a great experience to have. As a result, they have gained a loyal customer.

    BE AWARE AND GET A SECOND OPINION!!!!!!…read more I brought my car (Hyundai Sonata) in to have my air conditioning system looked at because it wasn't blowing cold air let alone cool air just air. I had a thought of what it MIGHT be, but I wanted to have it looked at to discover the root of the problem. After like thirty or forty minutes they told me it was low on Freon. So I'm no expert I just have experience with cars' AC systems and what could happen over periods of time, they could reload the Freon and I be on my way in about an hour, they also offered to clean out the tube to clean out any mold that might be there, but I respectfully declined, they waived the diagnostic fee of $185, I paid $504 for the Freon refill, and I was on my way. Now a week later, my car's air conditioning was starting to blow cold air only on the passenger side and now just air like it did before I had the Freon refilled. So I took my car to the dealership and asked for a diagnostic of the air conditioning system along with a safety recall and we had an answer. It turns out it was the AC evaporator, which was the initial problem because they did a full check. What I mean is that in order to get this figured out they had to run dye through the system to find leaks and remove the windshield and dashboard in order to find the problem. Now this Goodyear, their technician ran dye through the system and DID NOT advise me further about it possibly being something more. When I brought this to them, they did not take me seriously, acted like they saved the dealership an extra step, and told me that they do not do this kind of extensive check because they don't like to throw parts at their customers or due to the size of my car (I have a Hyundai Sonata it not huge but not like a coupe or a Fiat), they also said the dealership cheated on their diagnosis because they used their dye that was still there in order to find the problem, and because of them waiving the diagnostic fee one of their guys did not get paid properly (and based on the technician's response to that it sounds like it had happen before). The technician that was helping me took the quote from the dealership and worked the numbers to beat the quote given and the best they would do was $300 less than the dealership which was almost $3000 and they could do it in one day instead of two days which they probably thought would seal the deal with me and the fact that the manufacturer's guide says it only takes less than a day. All I could think was "NO WAY", they already tried to hide an issue that they decided not to check despite putting dye in my car to check it but refused to touch the inside of my car to possibly find the issue before I even spent the money, when they also claimed their AC technician is the best in the company, well you're not touching my car again and potentially squeezing me for more money. All they cared about was citing their own policy and gloating in the fact that the dealership "got help" from them because they had already put the dye in my car to find the problem.
