We love Happy Pup! Our pups have stayed there twice -- once for 10 days and another time for 6…read moredays. Lisa, one of the owners, is great at communicating both before and during our pups' stay. She's also great at meeting my husband and I and asking if we need help the moment we arrive. The indoor/outdoor shelter where our pups stay protects them from the elements and provides each of them with their own individual space. They are also given a long walk daily and provided a large area to play together. Every day, they are fed and given their medicine as prescribed. Our pups receive lots of attention and are happy to stay. Next time we need dog boarding services, we will return to Happy Pup.

The staff is excellent and the daycare is well priced for the amount of interactions and oversight the staff gives the pups. I am able to watch my dog from their cameras at work and she has a blast. Best part is she is so excited when we show up and exhausted when I pick her up. Going to start doing boarding with them next week because I feel I can truly trust this place.

They treated him with the utmost care during his surgery. There was more extensive care required and the vet and team went above and beyond adjusting his care and cost of surgery. They absorbed some cost due to a simple miscommunication which in today's economy few hospitals would even consider doing. My grandson is going to start taking his 2 dogs here now. Hands down the best care your pet will ever receive is at Cedarlake hospital.

Our dog is super attached and does not like to be left alone. The staff here was so sweet and attentive from the moment we walked in. They asked about special requests with grooming and any special needs. The grooming only took about 1.5 hours. When we came to pick her up she looked so happy. They did a great job with the grooming!! I was so impressed by her perfect paws. To top off the already amazing experience, this evening we received an email with our pup's "report card" that included a picture with Santa! If you need a groomer, you have got to come here!!

Today, he said my cat did not need a dental cleaning, although I am sure other veterinarians would have recommended it. He didn't even recommend flea protection for my indoor cat, although other veterinarians would have. He always loves on my animals and seems to know just where to hit all of their favorite spots as they shed all over him. I appreciate Dr. Dustin, Allison, and the very happy atmosphere there. Everyone really seems to enjoy working there together. Fountain Inn is so fortunate to have your practice in our town.

Fees continue to escalate while care is increasingly turfed to more and more "specialists", further making pet care just about unaffordable. Several of the staff talk behind clients' backs, and Dr. Gilstrap doesn't hesitate to verbally berate clients if she feels they're asking too many questions or she doesn't like their honest feedback. When Dr. Meyer owned this practice, she was very supportive of clients using nutraceuticals, along with many alternative therapies and modalities for care. That is no longer the case under current ownership. Nothing outside of the strict boundaries in standard of care is open to or welcome for discussion at Hillcrest AH. You may even receive an angry phone call from Dr. Gilstrap if she finds out you've said anything regarding such limitations. Over the course of our 10+ yrs taking our pets to Hillcrest AH, we were also disappointed on multiple occasions with their lack of knowledge regarding eye issues, in both cats and dogs. They also missed a few other things over the years, which I had originally been willing to forgive, until there became a series of other issues that eventually forced me to leave this once-great practice. I missed Dr. Bailey tremendously, but am happy to report that Dr. Bailey can now be found at Lyman AH.

While there I told the vet I didn't want to talk about my bill just yet as I was crying and upset. She said that was ok. Less than 24 hours after my dog was put down, there was a young person there that called me to demand payment. I was and am still grieving the loss of my precious dog. I had no issue with the medical staff. I just thought that someone in authority should have called me maybe a day or two later. Couldn't understand why that person, teenager or maybe early twenties, would be calling me. Anyway I decided I wouldn't go back for vet services. In the meantime, I got a letter kicking me out of their office, because of the way I acted on the phone and in the office.

That was never communicate about a specific time when he was drop off. Poor customer service won't be taking my Otis there again. Being kind and warm encouraging in your interaction is more effective than being rude and critical. The groomer did a nice job.
