I didn't love the pasta, the sauce was bland despite the peppery flavor but the scallops were well cooked and definitely the best part of the dish. It's a tradition I started with my grandmother many many years ago. They have always been my favorite Easter candy, and I look forward to them every spring. However, this year I'm disappointed in them. As I mentioned, I purchased a pound of the eggs. The inside does not look like they usually do. It is a deeper colored brown; and unfortunately, they do not taste the same. In addition, they are much smaller than the ones I have bought in years past. I am really disappointed. I guess the only light in this is that I will save money this spring inasmuch as I will not be purchasing my usual five pounds throughout the season. Nor will I recommend them as I have in the past. It's a shame. As I said, I've been purchasing these pastel malted milk eggs every year for over 30 years. Perhaps they were last year's malted milk eggs. I can't even eat them; they are that bad.

They have cute fixtures outside of the building that my kids enjoyed taking pictures of and with. Upon entering it was a very large space and bright! They have all kinds of toys, souvenirs and a larger variety of candy than a Candy Kitchen. They have plastic bags (pay per weight) that you can fill with candy or even small buckets. They also have shelves filled with a variety of candy. They have ice cream and a counter filled with different specialty chocolates, etc. Overall, I thought it was WAY better than a Candy Kitchen. The variety from sweets to sours to chocolates was awesome! I also thought the pricing wasn't bad considering it's a tourist area.

I noticed that the bathrooms weren't open to the public anymore and I asked the employee about this at the end of the day. He told me that a significant number of people would claim they would buy something and be trusted to go to the bathroom, and then they would leave out the back way and not actually buy anything.
