It is a deeper colored brown; and unfortunately, they do not taste the same. In addition, they are much smaller than the ones I have bought in years past. I am really disappointed. I guess the only light in this is that I will save money this spring inasmuch as I will not be purchasing my usual five pounds throughout the season. Nor will I recommend them as I have in the past. They also have shelves filled with a variety of candy. They have ice cream and a counter filled with different specialty chocolates, etc. Overall, I thought it was WAY better than a Candy Kitchen.
