Do you like candy? Do you like specialty sodas? How about novelty items that teleport you right…read moreback to your childhood? If you answered yes to any of these, Rocket Fizz is the place for you. This store is loaded wall to wall with all sorts of candies/goodies that you might've forgotten about or never even heard of. You can seriously walk around for an hour & still find new things with each pass. They carry a bunch of products that you usually only see online & cannot find at any grocery store or gas station. It's really fun to come in just to browse the shelves but you won't be able to leave without grabbing at least 1 or 2 things. The prices are also really fair so you can get a handful of items without breaking the bank, but beware, you might get carried away quickly! My favorite part is all of the sodas they carry. You'll basically find any soda you could imagine & then some. They have hundreds of colas, root beers, cream sodas & even whacky/funny ones. There's flavors you wouldn't even believe have been made but Rocket Fizz never fails at surprising. I promise, if you could imagine it, they're bottled it! I also want to give a very big shoutout to Jen, the woman who helped us this evening. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She made us feel very welcomed & even sent us home with some complimentary pieces of her personal favorite salt water taffy flavors. This was also AFTER she insisted I grabbed a couple extra pieces to try out on the house! You can tell she really cares about customer service & is reason enough you should stop on by. If you're anywhere by Clearwater beach & don't check out Rocket Fizz at least once you're really missing out.

I highly recommend this place to grab your favorite or odd sodas and candy.

This is such a cool shop! They have pretty much every type of jerky you can imagine. They even have…read morea seasoned insect section and a refrigerated section in the store. Fish jerky. Bacon jerky. Alcohol Inspired Jerky (Fireball jerky, anyone?). Sausages. You name it. They also have a plethora of sauces and other goodies. The lady working the register was super friendly and helpful. We were able to try several different jerky's and decide on one before buying. The jerky is a bit pricey. We found a flavor we loved and splurged on an $18 bag. It has lasted a little longer than cheaper jerky because it is more chewy and authentic. We also spotted a sauce that we love and normally have to order online because we can't find it local. That was a nice surprise. This shop is apparently a chain (I found this out when I tried to tag them on Instagram), but it feels local. Either way, it is worth a visit to sample and pick up some fun and tasty treats.

They don't just have jerky, they have popcorn, candy, hot sauces, bbq sauces, dried fruit, and lots of exotic meat jerkys and fried/cooked insects. The owner was the cashier and she walked around and handed out samples of things she thought you would like based on your tastes. Very attentive and nice. I would say the only suggestion I would have is that one person didn't seem like enough to handle running the register and also giving out samples, it was busy enough that two people would have been ideal.

Even after coming here for well over 10 years, it truly makes me feel like a kid in a candy store…read morewhen I enter. Not only are you greeted by some of the friendliest employees, you're hit with a sensory overload (in all the best ways possible). The decadent smell of chocolate fills your nose & your eyes are drawn to the display cases with literal pieces of edible art. You're going to need a minute- or five- when deciding what you want. Your eyes will tell you to get the best looking while the flavor descriptions will speak for themselves. First & foremost, these artisan chocolates are not only delicious, they're true pieces of art. The owner uses an airbrushing paint style to decorate the shells of the many amazing options. They're made by hand in-house & you can literally see how much effort is put into the product they serve. I love how many different options there are to choose from. Not only is there a great variety, they're always stocked up. Even after coming here for as long as I have, it always seems like there's something new to try. They have some standard flavors like dark chocolate raspberry, strawberry caramel, hazelnut, cappuccino & salted caramel but the true fun lies within looking at the unique flavors. PB & J, bananas foster, key lime pie, passion fruit & Mexican mango are just some to be named. They offer macrons & some of their signature flavors in bar form, as well. There's also a great selection of delicious, freshly-made gelato. Fan of afternoon tea? They host it every Saturday & Sunday with some delicious bites at a reasonable cost. Everything from the amazing customer service to the phenomenal tasting/looking chocolates makes this place a must hit. Any & every time I'm in Clearwater I make sure to get my fix. You shouldn't miss their chocolates if you care about yourself.

Absolutely scrumptious canned goods, specifically the jams and preserves…read more I am an absolute SUCKER for locally canned jams & preserves. We used to take road trips up to St. Louis almost every summer when I was a little jit, and one of the highlights was the humongous breakfast my Grandma would whip up the morning we arrived. Eggs, fresh bacon and sausage from a local butcher shop, biscuits from scratch, gravy, lots of butter and the most magical strawberry preserves from a neighbor down the street. It was during those times in the mid-to-late 80s that I fell in love with the homegrown stuff. And instead of copping out and buying that high fructose corn poison that Smucker's and Welch's peddles to the multitude, I seek out and support the local canning/jarring companies. CCC is one of my favorites. Not only is their stuff really good, but they use half the sugar some of the others do. The human brain cannot really understand sugars, so they just get stored on your body as fat in some weird anatomical "miscellaneous" file, if you will. Therefore, any little bit my lard-ass can cut out, the better. These guys have some off-the-wall flavors like pineapple lime cilantro. Sounds absurd, right? Well, the only thing absurd about it is how freaking good it tastes. 12 grain toast, real peanut butter and this stuff is serious business. No joke folks, catch up with these guys. They can be found at most farmer's markets and other events such as First Fridays in Tarpon Springs. They also have an events page on their website that lists where they will be and when. http://www.clearwatercanningcompany.com/events/ Highly recommended.
