Any warranty issues we've experienced have been promptly fixed with Bryce. He's incredibly responsive on top of things. We have lived here now for about nine months and love it! Working with Candlelight has been a wonderful experience - a stark contrast from builders we've worked with in the past. We've been here for 1 year now and still every bit as amazed as when we first stepped into the sales office. First of all, the community / concept is amazing - life unplugged, a place where kids can get outside and be kids. Second, the people are incredible. Cody and Curtis are salesmen who both made the buying experience top notch. They were both friendly and Curtis, who was assigned to us, did so good at walking us through the whole process. He always made sure we were being seen and taken care of. Third, Bradon was our direct link to the work being done. He wasn't just doing a job. He made sure our home was the best quality and exactly how we wanted it. We even hired a private inspector who praised Bradon for showing up and making recommend adjustments on the spot. The inspector said he'd never seen such a good builder or a better quality home. Finally, the love didn't stop at closing. After moving in, Aspyn has been such a positive addition to our lives. She's an events coordinator. From hors drawn carriages, to reptile shows, and even service projects, living here means our son has someone who regularly plans amazing events for him where he gets to get out, have fun, and play with friends both old and new in the neighborhood. I'm an artist, a designer, and a photographer, but aesthetics is not just my career, it's how I live my life. Full disclosure, I am impossible to please when it comes to home design. As the longest home-owner in the Firefly community, I can say, after a year and 4 months, that this has been such a wonderful place to build a home and live. every week we get several new wonderful families moving in. Everyone is welcomed into our neighborhood chat groups, everyone is invited to various weekly neighborhood activities based one their interests. We have Miss Aspen, who is the activities director who also puts on weekly or multi-weekly activities for us to attend. we have the sales reps walking the neighborhood every day, who know us all, and our kids, by name. Neighbors helping each other, what a community is meant to be! When shopping for a new home, most people look at square footage, but I look at natural light. Too many new home builders put in tiny windows because they care more about profit than homeowner comfort. Natural light profoundly impacts human health and wellbeing by regulating circadian rhythms, boosting mood, and increasing energy levels. Exposure to sunlight increases serotonin, a neurotransmitter that helps maintain a calm and positive frame of mind. Not to mention, I love plants! But that's when my friend CK told me to tour the homes they are designing at Firefly in Eagle Mountain, UT. The sheer amount of windows built into every Candlelight home is an absolute dream! More than any other builder! Living in the firefly community has been incredible! The skatepark, pump track, pickleball courts, mountain biking trails, and parks are so fun to have access to so close to home. It truly feels like my kids are getting the type of childhood I had growing up! They're never in my house, always playing with friends outside. The other day my daughter and her friend took their sleds to some dirt piles and were trying to sled down the dirt! The neighborhood is full of like minded people who want their kids outside playing and off their screens! Candlelight is also an incredible builder! They are very responsive, always available, and they strive to always do the right thing, even if it means they take a loss. If you're worried about the drive, don't be! It takes some getting used to, but it really is not as bad as it seems the first few times you come out here! We are a tall trio! My two sons were over 6' tall by the time they entered junior high. We have spent our entire lives ducking under chandeliers and feeling claustrophobic in standard-issue basements. We've looked at lots of other homes by many different builders, but they were really disappointing. Our friend Corey works at Candlelight Homes, and insisted that the homes at Firefly were different, and convinced us to give them a look. Boy was she right! Touring the model homes was a revelation. Firefly homes have 9-foot and 10-foot ceilings, 8-foot interior doors, and massive vaulted 2-story great rooms. Plus there aree so many windows you feel drenched in natural light, in every single room. The real shocker? All the basements have 9-foot ceilings, meaning my boys can actually stand up straight without feeling like they're in a cave. The sense of volume in these floor plans is incredible. I have recently been looking into moving, and I came across this community after my friend Corey convinced me to look at Candlelight Homes' designs. I couldn't believe the unique designs. I can't stand most master-planned communities because I hate neighborhoods where every house looks identical, with the same 10 houses built over and over on a grid. Candlelight Homes won the Parade of Homes 2 years in a row, and I think they're going to have a 3-peat! One of their home designs, the Chamonix, even won the Gold Nugget national award for Single Family Home of the Year. Firefly's streetscapes are genuinely gorgeous, and even their sidewalks are winding and interesting to use. The mix of architectural styles, rooflines, and exterior materials makes the neighborhood look organic and unique. We have lived in Firefly by Candlelight Homes for 1 year now. We have loved so much about being part of this community! Every home entered is stunning and well designed. Having Aspen as the activities coordinator has made this neighborhood what it is. It's been so easy to get to know others and watch our children grow in the activities she plans and family events we get to be apart of. There are is such a good feeling when we can look out the window and see so much activity happening with all of the great amenities. Kelsey, Lilly, and Aspen have been a great link between the homeowners and the candlelight staff, and we appreciate everyone who works so hard to make this community what it is. Incredible builder. Trult exemplary in their home designs. Each model was great in their own way and after working with Zach we were able to find one that really fit our family. He was a great rep, always communicating efficiently and making sure we knew everything that was occurring. I am notoriously picky about kitchens. I cook, I mean I really cook, and most builder-grade kitchens look pretty but function terribly. My friend Corey works at Candlelight Homes, and was always telling me about how you can personalize the kitchens in your home design. You can choose gas or electric, choose from 5 levels of appliance packages, and they even have prep kitchens with a second dishwasher. Candlelight Homes really does build beautiful homes. They use higher end finishes and you can tell the difference between their architecture and the architecture of similarly priced builders. Their home designs are not typical, they are so much more unique. I lived in a Candlelight home and never had any issues.
