The Ugly: *A lot of prices are not displayed/not marked on the products. I know, I know if you have to ask... But, anywho, that's one of my pet peeves about places like this. The paper we were given by the Landsby said "no reservations required". As soon as we walked in, the sales associate was very rude and asked if we had a reservation. I simply stated that we did not because the paper said no reservations required. She said "yeah we need to change that. well, it's going to take me a while to get it ready". We said it was fine and patiently waited. The olive oils and vinegars themselves were tasty, but we will definitely not be coming back here due to not feeling welcome and not friendly service. We felt very awkward being there and were going to buy a bottle of vinegar but decided not to given how uncomfortable we felt. Don't waste your time.

At this visit I was looking for a delicate sterling silver ring that our daughter has been searching for. I was surprised to find it and took a picture to send to her. In doing that I also took a picture of the wall of clocks, since it was nostalgic to our last visit. My husband then told me about the No Videos/Photos signs (sorry!). Our daughter texted back saying it was the ring she wanted. A staff member happened to come up at that moment who asked if I needed any help. She opened the case, but the ring was too big. She was so kind to look through the other sizes with me, but they didn't have more. We then walked around admiring all the collectibles and the wonderful details of the wooden German clocks. We plan to come back when our daughter visits in the Spring. Hopefully they will have her size then.

The Glowology products are amazing for my sensitive skin. In addition to their amazing selection of beauty products, they also carry an assortment of drool worthy apparel, accessories, and jewelry. I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and their incredible story about this company that makes hand crafted leather goods in Ethiopia. The minimalist beauty of the store shows off the fine craftsmanship involved in making these leather products, and I toured the store slowly, looking at the lovely products. It was food for thought for me, as the price of the goods does reflect their handmade quality. About a month later, we were walking by and I spotted an array of the bags outside, hanging on a display rack and was again drawn to them. Luckily, my husband was with me, and we were in a celebratory mood, so he gifted me a bag! It was a joy to decide which on I wanted, and I was glad I had thought it over, each one offers an interpretation of what a great handbag should be! I homed in on a large bucket bag, since I tend to live out of my handbags and also use them as shopping bags since our town has an ecological "no plastic bag" policy. I loved the color and texture, and even the smell of the leather bag! Our salesperson offered to personalize it with initials, which was just the icing on the cake! The handbag is beautiful and I know it will get years of wear! Plus, I feel good about helping other women learn a profession!
