We paid $1000 over for a 2261 sqft home which is a decent price. But I came to visit because it's my son birthday and I wanted to do some work on the house before I move here and I'm so confused on what I paid for? I'm a big person on cleaning and it should be done right I get that this is a big house but if your going to charge me a down payment for a car it should be done properly. My husband may have been satisfied because it was last minute but I'm sure as hell not! I very disappointed in the services. I wish I was here to help my husband when chose this cleaning service because I would've not let them leave my home without a proper inspection. This is disgusting.

American Maid truly has gone above and beyond on ensuring my home looks spotless every time!…read moreThroughout the years, American Maid has carefully listened and acted on my OCD level of cleaning. Ever since about 2010, I've used American Maid as my go-to cleaning service. Carol's and Desiree's teams have always been unbelievably nice, detailed and so easy to talk to! They're very focused on the specific cleaning needs like my grill or removing bad odor because of my dogs(which the maids absolutely love lol). Another thing I like is how Mindy knows my name every time I call. It's like they know me on a personal basis, making me feel more comfortable and treats me like we're friends. The cost, however, is not the cheapest. The last cleaning that was done costed almost $300, but it's well worth it because I always request 4-5 star cleanings. American Maid is my only cleaning company I'll use. Staff are amazing and my house is always clean. They definitely deserve 5 stars!

However, for a move out/move in cleaning they are not well equipped. They did not sweep under my small oven ( i found dust, cobwebs, and dead spiders). They did not have a mop, so my wood floor was only swept - and I guess no vacuum for nooks and crannies. and while they washed the bathroom sink, they didn't scrub the build up around the faucet (which i cleaned with some q-tips afterwards). I was charged a flat rate of $200 for my small studio, which seemed like a good deal until I realized that they were doing a real basic wipe down of surfaces that lasted 2 hrs. While service was cordial, the actual cleaning seemed rushed. Moving is already pretty stressful, and I'm happy to pay a business for easing the burden of making a room ready for move in. Back in LA, a cleaning of this quality costs about $80 (for two hours). I sent Dina a message afterwards about some of my grievances but she did not respond. I'll take some responsibility for not thoroughly checking the job afterwards (cleaning is not my strong suit, which is why I hired the business). Anyways, if ya need to light cleaning done fast, I'm sure they'd square you away - anything else, I'm not so sure.

They drive down to visit me from Tacoma which is very much appreciated. If traffic is going to have them a tad behind they always give me a heads up. The team always consists of two people and frequently Sirina herself! A mother and military wife she still finds time to attend many of the jobs to ensure things are "done right" she tells me. Not only Sirina but also her employees have been incredibly friendly and polite and a joy to have in my home. They are sweet to my kitties but not sweet to the kitty hair that latches onto all my furniture. They have been very thorough each time I've had them here and spend 2-3 hours on the home. Sirina always asks me to look around and to be sure to tell her if anything doesn't meet my expectations. The cost is very affordable, especially for two people. I also love that the money is going to help a military family and many of her employees have family members in the military and are trying to get assimilated into new surroundings.
