She was very personable during our phone consultation and was even willing to set up a 2nd call so my niece could talk to her as well. Because my niece needed lots of help for the next year+, I wanted her to be invested. She got along very well with Whitney so I was relieved. Now the cost. I'm not gonna lie - it's not cheap. This was a stretch big time for me but my niece needed (and wanted) help. And after I compared her rates to other programs, Whitney's options were mid-range. There are other cheaper programs, and others nearly double. Whitney has multiple options to fit your budget as well as how much/what type of support you needed. I bit the bullet and signed up for the 20-hour package to get us through her college applications through the fall of her senior year. My niece felt supported the entire way. I remember before Thanksgiving she was rushing to finish her college essays so Whitney could give her feedback. Whitney is respectful, but she will give honest feedback on ways to improve your college essays. That service alone was worth it, but everything from helping with her college list, to questions on the applications and mapping out deadlines - this made everything so much less stressful! Out of the 7 schools my niece applied to, she was accepted into 5. She received a nice scholarship to the school she ultimately decided to attend and I believe this has a lot to do with the guidance she received from Whitney. Wonderful knowledge service and program!
