Beware of Francine the Fraud. I paid for a retreat in March with Francine that was postponed due to…read morethe pandemic but as September rolled around, I contacted Francine to let her know that due to the border closure between Canada and the U.S., quarantine, and a medical exemption I would not be able to travel internationally to Arizona for the retreat and requested a refund. Keeping in mind I have received travel refunds from Airbnb's, hotels, and even an airline credit, I expected that someone in Francine's position would have compassion and offer flexibility as so many travel businesses have in these unprecedented times. Francine refused under the guise of being "guided" not to return my $900 Canadian dollars. When I expressed my surprise and disappointment and let her know the border closure had been extended and I physically could not travel, she did not reply to me. All too happy to keep my $900 however, that was only paid to her two weeks before the shutdown. They say 2020 is the year of disclosure and many spiritual teachers are being exposed as false light teachers. Well anyone in a spiritual profession who uses the guise of "love and light" and "guided" as a reason to not refund $900 dollars is a false light teacher and fraud. Never mind a thief. In hindsight I am glad I did not lend myself energetically to a person of this nature. Not only a terrible business practice but a terrible human practice to take such a stance during a pandemic and not do the decent and right thing. Speaks volume of her character. Karma sees everything and The Law of Compensation will catch up with her.
