It's one of the bigger parks we've been to in the metro area - though we haven't been to by many. (No one was playing music. The other skaters were quite polite when we were here.) There are park benches outside the fence - backs to Parker Rd. And a few picnic tables on the grass. Our only wish were for some restrooms. FYI- the parking is a bit beyond (or before, depending on where you are coming from) and across the street. Follow the path and take the high road when it splits.

The stairs are steep and little space between the walls and rails. There's also a downhill slope into the stairs. It's got a couple of good ledges to practice grinds on. When I…read morehad first visited "Tron" it was all wood with a massive halfpipe but i was too young and inexperienced to skate it. Since then I've seen the construction of the cement double box which is arguably one of the best ledges in Portland and the now (old) new park which was the 2008 addition and just as of recently the (new) old park which was the complete removal of wooden ramps to all cement and it's been my home away from home for over a decade. I highly recommend this park to anyone! Nobody fights, nobody steals, and it's a great over all place. Couldn't ask for a better spot for skateboarding.

Family-friendly | Beautifully maintained…read more I have nothing but excellent things to say about this park. When we moved five years ago to Wilsonville, one of the highlights of this town are its open spaces and how family-friendly it is. This is just one of many parks in town. It's expansive too! It is located right across the street from the library and they offer so much-- water play (Murase Plaza), structured play, event spaces, nature play, tennis courts, soccer and baseball field, skate park, nature trails, disc golf, and fishing/boat dock. It is also stunning during the fall season with the trees in orange, red, and yellow. Parks and Rec are always maintaining this place. The latest addition to the park is the natural playground, and that is where we took our toddler recently. She LOVED it. She made some friends pretending to fish in the canoe and hang out in the teepees. The sand pit is a big hit too. Whether you're a family visiting or a local, I highly recommend checking this place out.

Our 9-year-old daughter just came back from her first week at camp, and it was an incredible…read moreexperience from beginning to end. She had just turned old enough to qualify and started skateboarding only last summer. Although still relatively new to the sport, she felt totally comfortable and confident joining thanks to the warm, supportive environment. One of her favorite moments was getting to skate with Kaci Woolf, which truly inspired her. From a parent's point of view, everything about the camp was well organized, safe, and thoughtfully run. The food was delicious, the daily routine was solid, and the staff were attentive and encouraging. We especially want to thank Coach Joseph, who not only kept a close eye on our daughter but also earned her complete trust. Because she felt so supported, she was willing to try new tricks and push herself further than ever before. Our daughter brought her phone with her, but barely contacted us during the week--clearly, she was too busy having fun. That made Coach Joseph's thoughtful updates even more meaningful to us. Every message and photo he shared showed her smiling, skating, and thriving. The only minor issue was that one of her shoelaces broke partway through the week, and unfortunately the camp store didn't carry replacements. It was a small hiccup, but a good reminder of how tough skateboarding can be on shoes. When we picked her up, the very first thing she said was, "I want to come back for two weeks next year!" She came home full of joy, confidence, and new friendships. We're deeply grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend this camp to other families.
