Anyway, I passed by earlier this week to do a remote training for Microsoft Excel. It was either this office or one downtown, and well, this one was closer. The course lasted the majority of a workday, with three breaks (the largest one being when we broke for lunch). In terms of the class, I felt it was very productive. I did find the set-up strange though as I imagined I would share my class in person with more people. Turns out I was alone in a room with a hook-up to speak to my teacher and 20+ other students from around the US. The setting was comfortable. Chair made it easy to focus, as did the equipment. I would definitely tell people to take a course here if it's with the ONLC. My only thing is that I wish I had gone on a day when the staff at the reception desk were more friendly. Don't mistake me - the woman was nice, yes, but when I filled out my course evaluation and realized that most people point you to the bathroom from the beginning, my opinion changed. Truth is I had to ask where the bathroom was rather than being shown upon arrival. That just seemed lazy to me. Funny thing about the bathroom, too... you need a code to get in. Regardless, it was a good day, so I wouldn't be opposed to returning if need be.

On top of that, we were told things that turned out not to be true more than once, which made the entire process stressful and confusing. We were seriously interested in the property and submitted an offer on Wednesday, and we didn't hear back from the agent until after the contract had already expired. That alone was unacceptable. We resubmitted the contract, and then we were completely ghosted again. After finally getting a response, we renegotiated, and we were promised the seller was interested and would be signing -- so we submitted the offer a third time. Then once again, we were completely ghosted with no follow up and no professionalism. My wife and I have purchased and sold multiple homes over the last five years and we have never dealt with a listing agent this bad. The lack of communication and follow through was shocking, and the negotiating skills were poor. I genuinely feel bad for the seller because they missed out on a great full asking price offer purely because their realtor couldn't communicate, couldn't meet deadlines, and couldn't get the deal handled properly. Honestly, this is the type of agent that will without a doubt get you sued or dragged into a lawsuit because of the way things are handled. What makes it even more ironic is that one of the excuses we got for the lack of communication was that he was "in court all day." Go figure. Complete lack of professionalism from start to finish. I would not recommend this agent to anyone.

(Not their fault) My impression was that they weren't interested in doing business with me ‍ I started walking around the showroom and as I look at one kitchen the older gentleman tells me "that's Canadian" ... ok so I think to myself...not sure what that means...does that = better quality...was he telling me that because he thinks I can't afford it? I'm not sure. I wasn't given an other explanation as he walks away. Kitchens are big investments and I would've expected better customer service. Needless to say I didn't wait around to see how the rest of my experience would've been. I didn't have much time to waste. I can't comment on the pricing. Either way go check them out. It's a nice showroom by the Falls. Hopefully you have a better experience. They are one of the higher rated local kitchen and bath places. Also make sure you have your drivers license that matches the vehicle registration you will be using to pick up the equipment, it must match. Although I did read and ask questions prior to renting the staff was excellent with respect to providing this information beforehand. The equipment was clean upon pick up and the outside staff assisted me in loading into my SUV. All the staff was friendly & very helpful and knowledgeable. I would like to recognize Jacob for his excellent customer service! I had a situation arise with the equipment I rented and Jacob went above and beyond to help me helping me correct the issue.
