Whimsical & lightly conservative but not boring.... Retro inspired but not old school... you get the idea. This is not my style but this red dress was an anomaly in the store. It was my style... a modern and edgier take on Audrey Hepburn. Just giving you a bit more skin and shape than the OG classics to keep it interesting and eye catching. It's material was unique... though overall it was a summer wear, it was a rich lightweave knit that had so much stretch and give that it hugged every curve in the right spots. Yet somehow it was designed with a nod towards Roman Holidays and allowed the skirt to flow and ripple beautifully in any wind Rome would send me. Service here is just amazing... they all stopped to compliment me when I walked out the change room with 'sincerity'. If they are truly authentic then I have to say it's possibly the nicest service I had in a while... like really nice people in general. If they were trying to close a sale, it's still the best service I've had in a while. Oh, the store is really posh... not quite luxury stuffy but you know you're in a nice spot. The change rooms are a walk in closet size with the most complimentary lighting I've seen and the plush carpeting makes you feel like you're in a boudoir.
