I called. Explained sound, issues with exhaust and check engine light. Can you please take a look…read moreat all three and fix it. "Yes yes. "I asked do you have appointments after 4 or weekends, "no we close at 5 and on weekends". Okay, I'll book time off work it needs fixed. What time do I need to have it there by to have it fixed? "2pm will give us enough time to look at it and get it repaired." Are you sure? I can come in at noon or earlier I just need to know, I cant miss a lot of time at work but I need this done. - Day of. There at 1:10pm hand keys and say let me know how much it is and when it is done. They maybe look at it for 30-45 mins and take it out of garage and park it. I'm thinking oh maybe it's done? Can I pay and get my car now.. oh no we didn't do any work - we inspected and diagnosed, you weren't booked in for repair work.. Why would I book with you, to have to come into town an hour away from where I live TWICE, and on top of it nobody checked my exhaust or my check engine light? "Oh we don't have time to check the code for the check engine light now it's too late" And then I ask for manager to be told that this is all my fault because how on earth did I think coming in at 2 meant they were going to be able to do any work? Are you absolutely daft?! I get the explanation, that it makes more time to schedule an inspection and then if the customer wants the work done then book the repair.. but when someone is calling you saying I'm in Sussex, all the places around here are booking the 21st or later.. and you saying oh I can get you in sooner.. and I explain I need it fixed.. So now, I'm down 75.70 for your inspection. I'm down over 80.00 in Lost wages, 30 dollars in gas and you are telling me my car wasn't worked on engine light not checked - I told you that I had basically zip ties holding my exhaust up and I wanted that checked and you did not do that either? And you fail to see the issue with this? I just get told how great your garage is now, how you've turned it around this last year, go ahead toot your own horn. Oh yes, the people answering the phones didn't give you correct info, but we know best. 666.00 repair quote not counting how much it's going to cost me to check engine or exhaust. And guess what, those appointments that I already had booked?? I canceled them to come to your garage because you assured me so much faster?? They were for the same date you booked me in for my repairs. Completely uncaring, checked out, crooks.

Came in 3 months ago to get brake line system fixed. Came in last week to get brakes checked…read morebecause something felt off. Took 5 minutes and they told me nothing was wrong. Brought the car to a different garage and they told me the fittings weren't on right and that I was leaking brake fluid. Never going there again.

Please invest in sensitivity training for your employees. Employees treating customers in a…read moresub-standard manner is bad for business. When customers are treated poorly (or extremely well), they will tell everyone they know about it. That's exactly what I'm doing right now. If you take proper action, I might change my rating. Until then, this is what you get. I had a horrible experience at your store today. The cashier was wonderful (so, please don't reprimand her; she did nothing wrong), but it just takes one experience with a rude employee after to leave a bitter taste in your mouth. After we were done shopping, my husband and I were getting ready to leave. He needed to use the washroom. I drove the motorised cart close to the entrance/exit area, waiting. (The other motorised cart was still available). We had purchased home related items (bedsheets, etc.). So, I waved the receipt to the employee standing at the front entrance area, before I put my receipt inside the packaging of one of the items. I stood up to just put my phone (with my credit card) into my pocket. Next thing I know, this other employee (elderly white male) is eyeing my legs, as if ambulatory wheelchair users don't exist. He then approaches me and asks me if I need the cart. I say "yes, of course". He prods me with the same question repeatedly, and now I'm finding myself having to explain my physical issues (which is really none of his business). He then proceeds with "you'll know what it's really like when you're my age" and then goes on and on about all the surgeries he's had. It's unfortunate that he's had several surgeries, but that is no excuse to antagonise me when I am just trying to shop and leave. He then asks to see my receipt (note, he wasn't doing this for other customers; he wasn't the employee standing at the entrance for any of this; this was clearly a personally targeted situation). I pull it out of the packaging I tucked it into and he goes over every item line by line. Again, this would make sense if he was doing this for all customers, but nope. Just me, AFTER giving me grief for using the motorised cart that is there for people like me who need it to shop. When my husband (white able-bodied male) arrived, his tone changes, but he still goes on and on, and follows us for a bit, as we are trying to leave. We just ended the conversation and left as quickly as possible. In the past, I have been rudely asked if I need the motorised cart (which I absolutely do), and it is annoying, but they don't normally keep bothering me with it. It's a minor annoyance. What happened today was well beyond that. It was ableist, racist, sexist and ageist, especially when he started following us and saying that his friend with arthritis works on a computer all day. Cool, I also have arthritis and work on a computer all day. Just because I'm a disabled woman of colour doesn't mean that I am lazy or have no career. Train your employees to not harass disabled POC customers at your stores. That kind of behaviour is not acceptable.
