I think I acted too soon with my previous review. My biggest let down is GAURAV SHARMA who bragged about the fact that he did training on all the products/brands in the store and had answers to every questions we asked just to sell the stove to us because it was almost 2 weeks before Christmas and he knew we needed a stove badly and he took advantage of us and CANADIAN APPLIANCE SOURCE BRAMPTON. This Cafe Stove by GE Profile is the worst stove I have ever had, which by the way after all the questions we had regarding the other brands he suggested that this was the best one because of the concerns with the other brands that we went through. They were the only ones that could get us a stove before Christmas which was a red flag so we went ahead and paid a lot of money to purchase this stove which is a MELON. It has so many defects which I reported from the day it was delivered. I have been in touch with GAURAV SHARMA via emails and phone calls from the day it was purchased everyday we find something else wrong with it. He admitted that it is defected and that he would personally see to it that it is replaced or I could return it, he even sent me other stoves to choose from and yet we are still stuck with the stove 2 months later. All they want to do is to come in and service a BRAND NEW STOVE THAT HAS SO MANY ISSUES FRONM THE DAY IT WAS DELIVERED. It has loose screw that was left in the oven, some that was not screwed in all the way, oven pops every time you turn it on, already overheating, pilot light does not come on to let you know which burner is hot, dents, sharp edges, panelling issues, venting issues for a BRAND NEW TOP OF THE LINE STOVE. He lied that he was just a sales person and in fact he is the MANAGER when I asked him why he did not tell us he said it would look like he was showing off??? I am now force to get a lawyer to deal with the issues because he/the customer department did not act on my complaint until after the 48 hours. After calling numerous times in December I finally got a hold of their service department who just wanted to come and fix the issues not to replace or return it as GAURAV SHARMA had promised me and my husband on several occasions. HE IS DEFINITELY A FRAUD..PLEASE DIO NOT GO TO THAT STORE THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY SELLING REFURBISHED OR DAMAGED ITEMS AS BRAND NEW ITEM from my opinion and experience with them. I have also spoken to several of them over Christmas and all I got was the run around transferring my calls all over Canada, they did know who is the manager, the manager was in but gone home call back tomorrow when I did then he was in yesterday not today when all along it was the same sales person GAURAV SHARMA that I have been dealing with. read more
