Total scam. Stay away! They put a lien on my home for no reason. They purposely did not withdraw the monthly payments for the four months since I got their service, so they could use that as an excuse to tell a judge that I didn't pay. They want $32,000 for $20,000 worth of work done. Total scam. Hello, This is a FYI for anyone who got a heat pump, furnace, hot water tank from this Company and other scam HVAC companies. When you sign a financial contract with these companies, you can expect to get a lien registered against your property. I have 2 against mine, both for 3 or 4 times the amount of the equip. installed. This will have to be paid off if you refinance your mortgage or sell your house, this is the scam. I contacted the Minister who looks after Consumer issues. He replied back that the Gov' t is bringing in legislature this spring, before the 15th of June/24, ordering the liens ( Nosi lien ) be removed from your property title . I saw the same info in CBC Marketplace, under HVAC scams this past month. You should check your title , can be done online for 35.00, if you have any HVAC equip. installed in the last few yrs. One lien I got is for an air conditioner installed 2 yrs ago, would cost 3800.00 - 4000.00 but the lien is for 15,5000. Most people do not know there is a lien until they want to refinance or sell and then it is too late and they end up paying out the lien. That is where the companies scam you. This is an update on. dealings with GHS I have been trying to get a refund for the removal of my hot water tank. The cost was $327.37. I received a collection notice because they did not pay the bill. It's been over 4 months now and they still refuse to pay the bill. I've contacted them numerous times with no satisfaction. The Secretary who answers the phone, when she answers the phone, will not let me speak to anyone in charge. I've called the sales rep, Sami Ogbajans, who is useless, with no reply. He told me to call any time if I have any problems. Well, I have a problem. I have called their office for the last week and they refuse to answer my calls. I have also called Sami and he refused to call as well. If Sami Ogbajans calls, ignore him. He promises he will take care of everything, but it's all lies. Once you sign your name, you are on your own. They will not pay for anything and the customer service is no longer available. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Please do not deal with this company, they are just scammers. I don't know what I will do if my equipment breaks down. I have a contract with them, but, it's not worth the paper it's written on. I had a new Furnace, Air conditioner, Tankless Water heater, Attic insulation, Water purifier, Security Cams and Hepa Air cleaner installed near the end of June/1923. The sales person provided a rough estimate of cost and then I presume the owner of the company came and wrote up the final paperwork. I was approved for a loan and was promised a rebate from the Gas Company, and my Electric Company as well as a rebate from the Government. I had Rental units from Reliance that when installed 11 years ago was lead to believe it was a 7 year lease. After 8 to 11 years I was still paying a rental fee on their products. I contacted Reliance and spoke to a rude woman who told me I had to pay $7.000 to buy out the contract. AFTER 8 YEARS!! Although their service was second to none I feel I have been screwed again and not in a good way. Green home solutions assured me that they would take care of the buy out of the old equipment from Reliance. I have been getting promises and the run around. I have had to pay Reliance for June, July, August and now have billing for September. I have contacted the BBB and was told they would contact the scumbags and try to resolve my issues. I have not had a response from these scam artists. I am a pensioner and cant afford to pay both companies, especially for equipment I no longer have. This Company is a total disgrace. Stay FAR away. Too bad because they did a great job on the installation of the products and works well. Good thing I didn't recommend them to anyone else. read more
