I send a lot of postcards through Postcrossing.com and need to buy stamps for the cards that I send…read moreto international countries. For the most part, the international stamps are $2.50 each. I've determined that I can use 3 normal 0.85 cent Canadian stamps. So, I like to have 3 different coils of stamps for a variety to put on the postcards. And the post office usually has a choice of stamps for those who buy them. I've been to this post office a couple of times and haven't seen the customer service that should happen. When I've gone in, I've gotten the same blonde female service person when I've gotten to the counter. I ask for a coil and she leaves, and returns to the counter with the coil of stamps that I've already have. I then have to say, "Do you have another style?" and I get a look like I should have said something before she got the coil in her hand. Most times when I go to get a coil of stamps, the server should ask what type of stamps I need. It's kind of a two part question: 1.) whether I need stamps for sending within Canada, to the USA or if I need International stamps. 2.) stating what styles of stamps I would like, whether it's flowers, Superman, animals or flags. I don't think the blonde postal worker understands the need for communication and customer service. The need for excellent customer service should be foremost and the lack of interest in finding out what the customer wants baffles me. I hope that anyone that goes to this post office, that they get someone who has communication skills.

I've been coming here for years, to mail packages, purchase boxes…read moreand box filler, etc. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, they are always well stocked with supplies, and the little dog, Harley, is just so sweet!! It's nice to go to a small, personal business, instead of a large post office, where it feels so transactional and they're just trying to get to the next customer. The staff at Pony Express takes their time and interacts with their customers, making everyone feel important and appreciated. Great customer service is a lost art, but I'm grateful Pony Express still offers it.
