Canada post has to be the worst company out there. I have to load up my suv and go to that tiny parking lot. I am disabled, don't have much money so I live in a LEGAL BASEMENT SUITE my mailbox is on the side of the house and my door is another 10 steps around the back of the house. There is a 4 foot wire fence (NO DOGS) but they won't deliver packages to my door. They tell me they don't go into backyards. Everyone else delivers to my door. What a bunch of bullS**t. The older heavy set woman is the most angry dismissive rude person I have ever encountered in the customer service industry!!! There were three customers and she was offensive! Dismissive! Canada's Official Postal Service Has Become Unreliable & Dishonest Canada Post unapologetically and completely, irretrievably lost a US package that was delivered to an unknown Canada Post Office somewhere in Canada. After speaking to several CP customer service personnel, who had absolutely no interest in helping me find the lost parcel, I am advising my client that the package is lost and not to attempt shipping parcels to Canada through Canada's unreliable postal service. PS. There are Canada Post employees that provide excellent service. However, never trust this company to ship parcels as they often lose items along the way. This is especially true for items shipped from the US. There are many other reliable options for deivery in Canada. read more

Can I give the older woman who works here zero stars? Rude, abrupt, dismissive, hostile and entirely unhelpful. I have no idea what her problem is, but she treats customers including myself with complete and utter disdain. In no way shape or form should this woman be working with the public. HORRIBLE experience with this retail location . Women was named Martha out of the 2106 33 ave sw Calgary location. (Marda loop) I've never experienced a more horrible women in my life. She rudely told me I should of taken off a return sticker on one of my boxes. I explained to her that I would have no idea and she can just cross if off instead. She said " that's something you can also do at home". Really?! Like taking a marker and crossing off numbers is such a hard ship for you Martha... I told her I don't like being talked down too. She said education is part of her job, in a smart ass way. I hope you really get rid of this women. I'm sure she is bad for business. I then tried to calm down and ask her if she was having a bad day. She said " not until you showed up" .. Martha you're a delight ..: She is probably use to using attitude and her salty remarks on more than just me. We have been using this postal outlet for more than 20 years. They have always gone the extra mile, and been knowledgeable and professional. Sometimes the lines are long, but the area has increased in population exponentially in the last few year. The parking is a bit dicey so we have been parking on the streets nearby. Very happy to have these folks as our postal outlet. read more

The clerk named Martha was very condescending and aggressive to me, and it got worse when she learned I didn't have internet on my phone (I'm visiting from Sweden) to fill out the customs form to send a package. She nearly reduced me to tears. I don't live in Canada (I'm Swedish); I didn't know you had to fill the customs form out online. Canadians are known for being friendly, but this completely undercut that impression. I saw Martha bullying the other people in line too. she shouldn't be working there. read more

I frequent this post office, a few times a month. Cannot complain - not many people look forward to spending a lot of time in a post office and this one is a little different as it is shared with a registry, so the traffic and atmosphere can have some tension with that. Have only seen 2 employees work there in the years I have come in and I have noticed over time, that they welcome people and are as polite as possible and do go out of their way to making sure packages are sent & picked up with ease. Kudos to them both for doing great work, inside a job that most probably do not know is very challenging. read more

I had terrible a terrible experience at the 2106 33 Ave SW location with a woman named Martha. She spoke down to us as we were trying to renew our forward mailing. She frequently mixed up or gave us the wrong information on the process of renewing. She ended up calling customer service and was no way in favour of the customer, and purposely made it seem like we were doing something wrong. We ended up having to call Canada Post to help us and they were quick and efficient in helping us with our renewal. We had ZERO problems with them and the service over the phone went smoothly. She was absolutely frustrating to deal with. Go to another location if you want better service. read more

I frequent this post office, and the desk clerks have always gone above and beyond the call of duty to be friendly and accommodating. Marda Loop aspires to a "neighbourhood" feel--and the Post Office, being a vital community player, really aims to contribute a sense of community to the 'hood. They've always got a smile, and good advice on how to save you some dosh on postal services (with similar results). If I didn't live here, I would go out of my way to use their services--that's how swell they are. read more

I had a horrible experience at this post office today (March 26. 2018). The woman working there today around noon (not sure what her name is) was extremely rude and seemed to take delight in making me feel uncomfortable. She talked down to me and made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience. She criticized everything I did (not pressing down hard enough with the pen, not crossing out the other address well enough, etc.) Will not go to this post office again. Despite my awful experience I said, "Thank You," as I was leaving, she merely grunted as she carried my box out to the back. read more

I've lived in many places around the world and have seen my fair share of post offices and this one takes the cake on my ''worst of'' list. The male employees are efficient and polite, the chit chat is socially awkward at best. Not much to complain about there. They share their workspace however with a mercurial harridan that makes any trip to the post office an anguish riddled Via Dolorosa. When I don't have the misfortune of having to pick up a parcel there I prefer frequenting the nearest post office several miles away. read more

How rude! I really wish the Marda loop postal outlet was located inside shoppers like other communities in Calgary. The associated registry was filthy. The postal outlet doesn't operate the posted hours. I arrived 6 minutes before closing and it was closed. When I obtained the clerks attention he came to the door and didn't acknowledge the early closing. I was told to come back tomorrow and then Told to get lost. I will be avoiding this establishment and encouraging my network to not use their services as well. read more
