The shop is one of several spots in the city with a legitimate pizza oven brought in from Italy, and they don't bs with their mozzarella options. The other dishes were fine, but I'd honestly just stick with the pizza because it is so bomb. I can't go past my second hand counting off the number of pies in New York that I'd prefer over the pizza here, and most all of them require long waits. I'm also confident calling this the best pizza in the country despite n = 4. Hot oven + bufala + proper dough recipe = something special. Never fails. Oh yeah, friendly service and reasonably priced for the location. Go eat there now. And get the bufala.

They have both outdoor and indoor seating. I really liked the table that is just inside the door- you get a good view for people watching of the street and the restaurant below. Our server was very friendly and helpful with ordering. We got a pesto pasta, Alfredo, Caesar salad and pizza with sausage. Portions are big and set to share. This place is kid friendly, my toddler had access to a high chair and was very happy with her pasta options. The salad was a bit overdressed and the Caesar dressing was more creamy than I'd like but the toppings including fried chicken were very tasty. I liked my pesto a lot. My mom was happy with the Alfredo and the pizza was also a crowd pleaser. I recommend getting white wine with your meal although my husband was happy with their strong beer. Overall a really nice dinner option, highly recommend.
