Recently I noticed a small store located at 471 East Ridge road called "Quick Cans". It is in a little plaza at the 475 plaza. I decided to check it out for a couple of reasons. Quite often when people go to the bigger stores and you have 10 or 15 cans or bottles, you end up waiting for the guy who has 3 grocery bags full. You might get lucky if he lets you first, LOL. I checked this place out and they pay the exact same price as the big places, 5 cents per can or bottle. Instant service, people count your cans and bottles right away and pay! While I was there I saw a variety of people coming in. From the homeowner cashing in a few bags of cans, to landlords-business people coming in with larger loads. I was impressed. I feel the only way to stop certain staff from stealing the customers $$$ is for the owner of the business to have one of their family or friends return precounted bottles & see for themselves. I have used this locations for several years. I always appreciated the friendly staff & clean environment. It never occurred to me that certain staff would steal $$$ from customers. If it's happened to me, no doubt it happens throughout the day. I don't want to think of the families that count on that $$$ for desperately needed food, diapers or gas. It's also crazy to think that I've added a TIP each time I've been there, so they have more of my $$$. I no longer go there, I precount my returnables no matter where I go. He asked my son specific questions about how often and where he would be riding. He made a few recommendations of brands. The first bike was very nice but too expensive so he found us a Giant which was much more reasonable. Based on my son's height, he had him test ride both a medium frame and a large frame. The sales manager Joel jumped on a bike and they both rode around the building - the first time on the medium frame and the second time on the large frame. The whole time Joel was checking the bikes, adjusting them to my son, ensured the tires were pumped up, he explained how to use the gears and when, etc - he gave my son a lot of great information on how to use and maintain the bike. My son decided on the large frame Giant in a beautiful dark green color. Carson checked the bike over, ran through all the the gears, double checked tire pressure, and ensured the bike was ready to go. Joel explained the warranties, 90 day service check, and some coupons for service. My son is very happy with his new bike! We put the bike in the car and arrived home to put it in the garage noticing it did not have a kickstand! My son called the store and they explained bikes don't come with kickstands anymore (that makes no sense to me...) but they offered to put one on if he wanted one. So we'll probably go back and get one. Overall, great experience with a knowledgeable and helpful team. We would definitely shop there again.

When we went to pay, I was told I couldn't have it for that price, it was $100 more. There was a mistake. He called his manager, who still wouldn't honor the price. I called the Orchard Park store, where I was told the bike was from. I was told that Bert himself, refused to talk to me and mistakes happen. Terrible customer service. Don't go to this chain folks.
