This is only one of two beach restaurants on playa de Muro. Therefore it is very popular, to the point that they don't really care about customers. I was advised to book a table in advance and rang more than 10 times in the morning to book for lunch the next day but the line was always engaged. I walked there in the afternoon and asked to book for the next day but was told that I couldn't, simply because the person controlling their list was not there and had left for the day. I was told to call in the morning. I explained that I tried but it was impossible to get through. The waitress could care less about that and kept telling me, in a rather patronising way, that I need to keep trying. So I went 50 yards down to Ponderosa Beach, the other restaurant, where they were very pleased to take my booking. I have been there before and I am sure I will have a great lunch tomorrow!
The restaurant experience is more than the food you eat and starts from the point of finding the place, then booking a table. Some struggle to understand that. read more
