Just back from a lovely holiday in Sa Riera, Spain. On our first evening we ate here (my friends favourite). Despite it being low season the restaurant was brimming with locals (sign of a guaranteed great eat if you ask me)! Greeted by such friendly staff on arrival and taken to a little hide-away upstairs. I loved the feel of the place already; real, authentic Spanish! We were swiftly brought tostadas (we got to rub garlic and tomatoes, to our preference, onto the toasted bread). We all ordered starters, mains and of course wine (why is it so much cheaper in Europe?!). The other 3 all ordered goats cheese salad (we consumed far too much of this on holiday)! I had courgette tarrine and Roquefort, I didn't really enjoy the texture.. For mains the others went for a variety of beef dishes and I got aubergine pie - delicious!
The main more than made up for the starter and the atmosphere was great with lovely staff!
We left satisfied and full, passing through the square where you can eat outside the Can Dolç on a warm summers eve! to read more
